GGuest UserThis hotel feels like one of the more upscale options in Surabaya. The garden is absolutely beautiful, attracting many visitors who come specifically to take photos, and it has a rich historical background. The mattress in the room was very comfortable. The only minor issue was that the sink in the bathroom drained a bit slowly, which seems to be a common problem in Surabaya. The breakfast was incredibly abundant; I'd recommend setting aside an hour to enjoy it. Plus, it's right next to a shopping center, making it perfect for some last-day travel browsing. The hotel's spa is about 250 RMB for a 60-minute session per person, but it's really relaxing. Just a heads-up, check-in is only available after 2 PM.

Aandy1960This is supposed to be a five-star hotel, great location but the service was just so-so! There's only one all-day dining restaurant on the second floor. The towels were absolutely filthy, worse than what you'd find in a two-star hotel. They were discolored from white to gray and yet still provided to guests. Unacceptable... I can only give it two stars! The soundproofing in the room was also poor, and the facilities were worse than a three-star hotel back home. For a supposed five-star, I'm reluctantly giving it three stars.

我我是霓Considerably clean, service wise language is a challenge, couldn't get information of any indomart nearby at all and couldn't get a cup noodle at night about 10pm. Cafe downstairs has no food at night too

Ddesi lukmawatiBusiness Room 207 was comfortable, clean, and spacious.
Business Room 211 was noisy; I could hear the outdoor AC unit, which was very disturbing and uncomfortable. There was a humming sound, and the room was cramped for a business room – not recommended.
Breakfast: Lacked variety and felt haphazard.
Hotel staff were friendly and responsible.
Check-in and check-out process was easy.

DDanielFYXAfter visiting the waterfalls and volcanoes, I was exhausted when I returned to Surabaya, but checking into this hotel was so comfortable. The environment is great, and the front desk staff are very welcoming. The hotel's location is also excellent; even though I was too tired to shop, a walk around the area was very pleasant. Surabaya is much cleaner and prettier than Jakarta. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Surabaya.

GGuest UserVery good hotel. The service and staff are some of the best i have seen so far. The taste of the food included in the breakfast is very good to. Rooms are clean and the housekeeping doesnt mess with your stuff when your not there.
The only stuff i can think of this hotel could improve on is stuff others mentioned before already:
Very loud traffic,some of the drivers think they are valentino rossi.. so some more soundproofing would be recommended. The airconditioning is ok in deluxe premiere and higher rooms,i booked a deluxe double wich ment me and my girl were being cooked alive but the staff upgraded our room to deluxe premiere for free wich was absolutely very nice of them. The water pressure is ok but could be a little higher. And the food despite tasting very good is being held warm on electri hotplates but they need to set these to a higher temperature for some of the food so that its still warm after it has left the kitchen.
Final verdict: 4.5 stars out of 5 and would recommend this hotel to others but as foreigner who struggles with indonesian temperatures i recommend you book a deluxe premiere or better room.

__YT_Located in the heart of Surabaya, about a 10-minute walk from the department store. On the way, you'll pass some great sports shops. A simple breakfast is included (you can ask the staff to fry eggs, they're delicious!). The two male front desk staff were unhelpful and immediately said they couldn't assist with anything (very passive problem-solving), but the rest of the female staff went out of their way to help us with our issues!

My problem is with the fabric of the hotel. It is dirty , shabby and living in the past. The first entertainment hotel in the city. Looking at it it was probably the last time it was refurbished.
I feel that the staff put on a brave face and they are professional in their duties.
Entering my room the sheets were grey had holes and stained. If you use an external laundry and hire your linen someone needs to change your contract!! Grey is not white. The walls are covered in hardboard and are dirty. Shower and toilet ok. Fire door did not self close. Hole in the wall where the self closer keeps hitting it.
If this is a four star hotel it’s the staff who are keeping it there, a review though in my opinion would drop you to two stars at the best!!
The owners need to reinvest!!

GGuest UserIt's okay. It looks a bit dirty overall, but they have sprayed insecticides and other things. At this price, it's close to the high-speed rail station. I don't think there's anything to say. You can transfer and stay for one night, but don't consider it if you want to travel.
