Semarang Hotels with Parking

On the recommendation of close friends, we chose to try Padma Hotel Semarang for our stay in Semarang, and we absolutely did not regret it. We truly enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was extensive and delicious, the rooms were clean and comfortable, the gym was beautiful, and the coffee and pastries at Goolali were also of excellent quality. Combined with the beautiful entrance and the warm atmosphere of the hotel, it created a very pleasant overall experience. What stood out the most to us, however, was the outstanding service from the staff. We would especially like to thank Mr. Syahrul for his professionalism and friendly service during breakfast. One small point for improvement would be the speed of the Wi-Fi, especially when using YouTube on the television. We certainly hope to return next year, hopefully for a longer stay.

This was my first time staying at Khas Semarang. I arrived around 12 pm and the hotel was very crowded because there was an event that day. The staff told me check-in was only at 2 pm, which is fine, but the problem was there were basically no seats available in the lobby to wait. They suggested I sit in the restaurant instead. Honestly that felt a bit strange since it’s Ramadan and people are fasting. Anyway, as a local I didn’t really mind, so I just went to Paragon Mall which is about 10 minutes away to kill some time. The room itself was quite clean and had all the basic amenities, so no issue there. For sahur, I requested breakfast to be delivered at 3 am. It only arrived around 3:30 am. When I asked the staff why it was late, they said they had to deliver to more than 20 rooms first. That made me wonder why they don’t just open a simple sahur buffet to make things easier for everyone. The soto was actually nice, but unfortunately it was already cold by the time it arrived. Food overall was decent. One thing I like about this hotel is the location. There are quite a few nice cafés around and many of them are open 24 hours, so it’s easy to find somewhere to hang out late at night if you want.

This hotel has a unique and pleasant interior. The location is very strategic. The rooms are also comfortable and spacious. Generally, the cleanliness is good. However, there were some stains on the bed sheets. We checked, and the bed sheets had already been changed, but the stains were still there after coming from the laundry. Perhaps they could cross-check this with their laundry vendor. Even after we asked for new ones from housekeeping, they were in the same condition. Another minor point for me is the complimentary drinking water. It seems to be water from a dispenser (we don't know if it's refilled or not) served in a jug, not bottled mineral water. That's a bit odd for a 4-star hotel standard. But overall, it's okay.

I always choose this hotel whenever I visit the city because it has never disappointed me. The location is excellent, with easy access to shopping malls, restaurants, and public transportation, making every trip very convenient. The staff are always friendly, welcoming, and willing to help with any requests. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Considering the quality of the service and the great location, the price is very reasonable. It offers excellent value for money, and I will definitely stay here again on my next visit. On my frequent business trips to Semarang, I always stay at the PO Hotel, which is conveniently located next to Paragon Mall. It's a 5-star hotel in the city center, offering a nice staycation experience. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and for dinner, I just walk to PG Mall through the connected doorway. The breakfast menu is also comprehensive and delicious. My suggestion for PO Hotel would be to upgrade the TVs to smart TVs and add more local channels, specifically Anteve and Indosiar, if possible.

This is one of the best hotels I've stayed at in years, easily top three. Their attention to detail and dedication to service quality are absolutely incredible. I wholeheartedly and earnestly recommend this hotel to all travelers; they are truly outstanding. As for location, it's very close to Semarang's Old Town, about 500 meters away, making it a pleasant 10-15 minute walk to explore the old town's charm and vibrant atmosphere.

My first stay at this hotel was quite unpleasant. I was given a room at the very end of the hall, and the cleanliness was subpar. There were a lot of mosquitoes, and the bed sheets and pillowcases weren't clean; it seemed like they hadn't been changed after the previous checkout, as there was a lingering smell of hair oil on the pillowcase. I tried to report it and asked the staff, but they insisted they had been changed. The water pressure from the sink faucet was extremely low, and the first flush of the toilet was very dark, like drain water, so I had to let it run for a while before I could use it.

The hotel design was aesthetic and can see javanese culture.. Love it. My kids also love the hotel and the staff is really friendly. The service also excellent. Oh ya, the breakfast buffet is great and kids meal friendly . Will stay here again in the future 🥰🥰
