I will definitely come here again. It was the best decision ever to stay here because the room complete with 4 pillows, superb king bed, smart TV and Young Living aroma. My room does have the balcony and enjoy watching the road scene.

Very good price valued accommodation with well standard of cleanliness and comfort, and spacious parking. High recommendation for travel around Alor Setar which convenient to reach good city central and foods.

We had a wonderful stay at Star City Hotel for Hari Raya! As always, we look forward to staying here whenever we visit our hometown. The hotel is comfortable, convenient, and the staff are friendly. This time, our studio was very close to the air-conditioning compressor, which was quite loud – as a light sleeper, it made sleeping a bit difficult. We did request a room change, but due to the busy Raya period, no rooms were available, which we completely understand. Overall, still a great experience and we will definitely return!

Well service standard excellent I'm very happy.. With the check in process very quick.. The room was nice and cozy, the bed was so comfortable even the shower was great.. With very good & strong water pressure.. Very pleased with almost everything except for the breakfast a little bit disappointed & most of the food serve not much verity & strangely cold with most of the food warmer not working or switch off.. Well anyway I had a pleasant stay.. Thank you very much.. The Jerai Hotel.. Alor Star.. Keep up the good work 👍💪

the hotel room quite spacious and the bed is comfy. The facilities are nice. but the room’s wall is not soundproof so you can hear people walking, talking, laughing and etc outside of your room.

The location is strategic. you can find food within 5 min walking. Shopping at Central Mall; 10 min walk.. you can find all the food you need along the way or just find something at the mall. The room cleanliness is acceptable, but don't expect too much from this old hotel. Still value for money. Bath tube can do without, it make the bathroom seems old.. a redo will be good. Breakfast is included and again don't expect too much.. but have to say the sambal for the nasi lemak is superb.

The hotel was okay, but the toilet flushed very poorly. The water pressure in the shower was weak. The bedding didn't seem fresh, so we asked for the sheets and pillowcases to be changed, and they did it. There's a pool at the hotel, but it was full of kids (maybe a sports group), all wearing swim caps. We decided not to swim with them.

It was raining heavily and my room was leaking. What's more, the soundproofing was very poor. The noise from the cars and motorcycles on the road made me sleep poorly for almost the whole night. But the rest was pretty good.

Stomach pain, peeing too Therefore walked to ask the convenience store that Clinton survived a bathroom and came back to check-in again. But didn't try to call, no one answered the call by himself Fortunately, there was a Chinese Male person to help us. He helped contact us so he went to the room. If not, Male, how will it enter? When entering, there are not many amenities, there is air conditioner, TV, 2 bottles of water, tissue, cloth, check the room, clean, but There was some noise When checking out, we sent a message that we would ask for a late check-in. Afraid that we could not leave at noon Finally, try to call to get a deposit of $50. Here there will be a $10 tourist tax. What do we want to recommend the hotel? 1.If you are a self check-in service, you should tell the cover of the trip that you check in by yourself. because maybe the customer didn't read it. Or before pressing to confirm that there is a self check-in. 2.when checking in by yourself should follow the affordable price We went to Penang last year. There is a very good receptionist, just send a passport, you can check in quickly too, there are still more facilities, more close to attractions, the price is still cheaper. 3. At the check-in cabinet There should be other language as well. That is not just English, Malay, Chinese, should have Thailand as well. Because Thailand is close to Malaysia 4. There should be an emergency press time. Contact the staff how many minutes should wait And recommend that there should be a bathroom service for customers as well 5. There should be a recommendation sign for check-in as 1234. P.S. For tourists The hotel is a service work. There should be at least 1 staff to take care of so that there is an emergency need help. We know that the hotel wants to save staff costs. Therefore have to reduce this part But what is for the school is the service of safety. For us, we thank this event.
