I had an absolutely wonderful stay here! The service was excellent—everyone was so polite and greeted me warmly whenever we met. The island environment is beautiful and very relaxing, making the whole atmosphere so pleasant and laid-back. Every meal was delicious too! My only small comment is that there were quite a lot of mosquitoes and insects in the room, which I understand is unavoidable on an island, but I hope the pest control can be improved in the future. Overall, I had a really great day and truly enjoyed my time here. Thank you to everyone for the amazing service—I will definitely come back again!

The hotel is, of course, poor, but the staff is caring. We were met at lunchtime at the pier and brought to the hotel. At 24 o'clock we had to leave by bus to another city. We were taken to the bus station. The transfer is free. You can also walk to the bus station and to the pier. It's about 10 minutes. We did not sleep in the room, we only left our things to walk around the city. Wi-Fi is provided. You can't call the stay at the hotel pleasant.

1) Four rooms but only two bathrooms, which was very inconvenient. 2) The homestay owner informed me very late. As you can see from the screenshot, it's impossible for us out-of-towners to constantly check our phones. 3) This is a single-story house, and the rooms are small. 4) There are no mirrors in the bathrooms or rooms, which is very inconvenient. One of them has a small mirror. See photos. 5) The water heater in the bathroom didn't work properly; it got scalding hot as soon as it was turned on. 6) The towels were made of low-quality cotton and didn't absorb water. After drying myself, my body was still wet. 7) Check-out at 11:00 am is too early; it's usually 12:00 pm. Very inconvenient.

The biggest advantage is that it is close to the Fengsheng Port Pier. It is the nearest hotel. It takes a few minutes to walk to the pier. There are supermarket restaurants nearby. It is very convenient and suitable for backpackers.

My short trip to Mersing..just to take rest for a while..nothing special..electricity socket very limited but the hotel is nearby the shop lots..easy to find food and near to river
