Bergen Hotels with Parking

The stay was pleasant. The staff were extremely friendly and everything was clearly sign posted and cleverly planned out. We booked two rooms but one of them had a very strong lingering smell of body odour when we entered and remained during the stay which made us question the cleanliness. The gym facility was decent and the breakfast buffet was also a good range. The hotel is about a 2 minute walk from the airport completely outdoors, so if the weather is nice, it is lovely!

The location is very convenient, within walking distance of everything. The front desk upgraded my room, which was much more spacious and comfortable. I requested a quiet room, and the hotel took note and arranged a room facing the courtyard, which was very quiet at night, and I slept very well. The hygiene facilities are about average for Scandinavia. Again, a reminder: when staying in Scandinavian hotels, bring your own toothbrush and slippers; this hotel also requires body lotion. The breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of choices, and it starts very early, suitable for those catching a train or on a tour. Overall, a very comfortable stay, and I would stay again next time.

It's a convenient 3-minute walk to the light rail, offering direct access to the city center and the airport. However, the room is quite small, the sink in the bathroom drains very slowly, and the towels are thin – one even had a hole in it. The soundproofing is pretty good, and the value for money is decent. Solo female travelers returning late might want to be aware that you have to pass through an underpass from the light rail to the hotel. It's generally quite safe, but sometimes there are homeless people, which can be a bit unsettling.

The room had a window and two twin beds pushed together. It wasn't large, but that's pretty standard for Europe and can't really be compared to hotels in China. The highlight was definitely the breakfast – it was incredibly rich and had a great variety of fruits like apples, pears, watermelon, and plums. Dinner and breakfast were served in the same place. Dinner was a bit pricey but absolutely delicious. We ended up eating there two nights and everything we ordered was fantastic, no duds at all. Tip: When dining here, they ask you to choose a tip percentage (5%, 10%, 15%, or skip) before you even get to the payment screen. The first time, I chose 15%, and the second time, 10%. I noticed other restaurants did this as well. The three dishes pictured were excellent; I didn't get photos of the others.

The old hotel has a vintage feel and a tranquil atmosphere, with many details and historical artworks. It's conveniently located right next to the station. The breakfast is plentiful and varied, and you can enjoy the view and watch people go by from the window.

From the photograph with the name of the hotel on the old  building, I thought the hotel is facing the fjord.  But the hotel is actually in a building behind the old building.  There is no view from the window.  Hence, it is over priced.  The sauna and gym are a nice facilities to have if you have the time.  Overall, not value for money.

We booked a family room for three people, which consisted of two separate rooms separated by a wall. It could sleep 3-4 people, and the bathroom was very spacious. The layout was excellent, and the hotel was very well maintained. The breakfast was fantastic; you can enjoy a delicious breakfast here, and the overall scenery was beautiful. Transportation was also very convenient; it's only about half an hour to the city center, which is near Burigana. I would definitely stay here again next time.

Room is clean and quiet. The bathroom is good size and the water pressure is very strong. Their breakfast has a wide varieties and good quality. I love the nespresso machine there.

When I booked, I clearly selected a quadruple room, but they gave me a six-person room. The front desk said, 'Your order shows a six-person room.' I'm puzzled, where did the mistake happen?

For a tourist without car, it is in excellent location, 7 minutes to railway station to/from airport on foot with luggage n railway ticket just cost nok44 , walking distance to cable station to Floyen mount or Bergenhus or Ferry pier and shops. I reserved a small room but got a room of good size with windows and sofa. There are supporting staff in reception always and they can help me for my enquiries. They can provide electrical kettle at request. Coffee is free in lobby. Breakfast is also good , simple with good choices. I will reserve it if I will visit Bergen again.
