"The location is excellent, just 240 meters from the Avis downtown car rental, making it ideal for anyone planning to pick up a rental car. The rooms are modern and spacious, and the heated bathroom is a fantastic feature! Check-in is self-service with no staff at the front desk. However, I encountered a small issue upon arrival, and I'm incredibly grateful to a tall male hotel staff member for his enthusiastic assistance. The service was truly five-star, and I will absolutely stay here again on my next visit to Bergen."

"Located just besides the train station, very convenient if you are doing the Bergen-Flåm railway trip. Room size is adequate for 3 nights stay. Free coffee is available at lobby. Laundry service is available free of charge at sister hotel (Grand Hotel Terminus) next door, 1 washer and 1 dryer. Breakfast spread is adequate, only one or 2 hot items changes daily. Gym is very well equipped. Overall a very pleasant stay at Zander."

"I love everything about this hotel!! It was exceptional especially for the breakfast, i can’t help but be so greedy that i ate everything served. (don’t worry there were no food waste!! everything went directly to our belly🤣) we got free room upgrade as well with amazing view.

"Booked for four people, but the front desk said they didn't have any rooms left, so they upgraded us to a two-person room – and yes, the price was upgraded too. Linens cost extra, and you have to put them on and take them off yourself. Remember to bring your own toiletries. The room was clean and the surroundings were beautiful. It just gets dark quite late, so I recommend bringing an eye mask! There was a wide variety of breakfast options, and it was delicious 😋. You can even enjoy sea and mountain views while you eat. For transportation, the #12 bus is available, just make sure to check the route beforehand."

"I recently enjoyed a 3-night stay at Hotel No.13 in Bergen. While my room lacked windows, it was comfortable and cleaned daily, making it a pleasant place to return to after a day of travel. The absence of a window didn't bother me much, as I spent most of my time exploring the city. The check-in and check-out staff were notably friendly and helpful, which added to the overall positive experience. The daily breakfast included in my rate was basic.
What truly stands out is the hotel's convenient location which is near Byparken Station and walkable distance to the UNESCO World Heritage Site Bryggen one of the most popular tourist attractions in Norway. It is a historic wharf with colorful wooden houses dating back to the 14th century."

"We visited the bohemian in December, we thought that an elevator was available in the building and were disappointed it wasn’t. The staff however solved the problem immediately by carrying our luggage upstairs. The room is more than satisfying: very beautifully decorated and has all the facilities you need.
Just a proposal for the bookings through other sites: people don’t get all the information to check in, maybe there is a better communication plan needed.."

"Stayed for 3 nights. The hotel is about a 15-minute walk from the metro station. It's located in a quiet and peaceful area. The front desk staff were very helpful; simply ask, and they'll gladly assist.
As non-smokers, we're quite sensitive to cigarette smoke, and unfortunately, we could detect a faint smell of it in our room. However, once the air conditioning was turned on, the issue disappeared.
TIP: There's a WUMART supermarket just a 5-minute walk away. It's large and offers a wide variety of products. You can also grab a bite to eat there."

"This hotel has two different wings, an old and a new building. The better rooms are located in the new building with good beds. The old building has the lobby and restaurant which is more convenient. Will stay here again if boarding a cruise is my priority."

Our Ole Bull hotel and apartments is the perfect option if you want freedom, regardless of whether you are travelling for work or leisure. We offer our guests lovely, fully-equipped hotel apartments in the heart of Bergen’s beautiful city center – ideal if you want a safe and comfortable stay close to all services!
Breakfast is not included, but you can prepare food in all the hotel apartments. Every one of our hotel apartments are fully equipped kitchens with a coffee maker, kettle, oven or hob, dishwasher, and refrigerator, or in some cases a refrigerator/freezer. They all have a sofa and chair set. The biggest rooms and apartments have their own dining table. All rooms have free Wi-Fi and brand-new television with casting. You will find towels and bed linen in the apartment when you arrive, as well as soap and shampoo. Your apartment will include a hair dryer, iron and ironing board. In addition, you can use the washing machine and tumble dryer in the laundry room on the second floor. None of the apartments have a telephone.
Ole Bull Scene, one of Norway’s best venues for shows, is right next door to the hotel. As well as enjoying the most exciting shows, it offers wonderful culinary experiences in Storm Brasserie and the chance to unwind in Storm Bar, which has its own terrace. In the autumn of 2021, we will start offering special accommodation packages that include shows! All our hotel apartments will be named after famous performers and shows at Ole Bull Scene, or other cultural activities in Bergen, and they will be decorated accordingly. We want our guests to feel that they are in the heart of the vibrant cultural scene that surrounds our hotel!
