Conte Hotel & Restaurant

This is a Lovely Hotel in the heart of Perast with the church bells entertaining you on special days. A quiet Apartment with Jacuzzi (3 room) had everything you want for a great two night stay. Free Tea Coffee and milk. A well stoked Minibar to purchase drinks but even better a lovely well stocked Shop below the SC apartment. Two great local wines for €3.50 (a bargain). Lovely Breakfast a short walk to the restaurant (brolly’s needed on some days). Really helpful reception staff and porters. Please note the water taxi seems to only run at dry times but other boats are available along the front.

We stayed in the annex part of the hotel and the room was spacious and close to the pool area. The hotel was in a great location and I would recommend spending 3-4 nights in Perast to explore the town and neighbouring areas. We had a car for the duration of the trip which helped to be able to get around as there isn’t much to do in Perast unless your planning a couple of day trips but would recommend staying here over Tivat and Kotor which we visited for the day

There is the main hotel, which has its restaurant next to it and on water, and another building that is a 7-8 minute walk away and requires walking up about 50 steep steps. Our room was in the latter which was ideal if you wanted to make us of the pool but inconvenient for breakfast but OK for dinner. Our room was fine. Breakfast was great with sitting by the sea, desk staff very helpful. Just loved the town and enjoyed the hotel overall.

A marvellous hotel in an idyllic location in the beautiful town of Perast. I had a superb room with a sea view and had three of the best breakfasts and evening meals ever in the hotel’s restaurant. A nice touch was the changing themed daily breakfast menu, all of which offered wide-ranging excellent choices. Hvala lepa to everyone, especially Pedja, Nikoletta, Davor and Djoko-I hope I have spelled your names correctly-for making me so welcome and for your kindness and assistance throughout my wonderful stay.

All of the staff, without exception, were friendly, approachable and efficient. The help with our luggage to go up the steps at the annex was much appreciated. The views from our balcony were wonderful and our apartment was comfortable, beautifully decorated and very clean. The addition of a kettle and tea and coffee was a bonus, because we thought they weren't provided.

WOW ........ This is the best hotel in Monte*****, the atmosphere, the staff, the location, the food, the service, the cleanliness !! Got married here the 1st September, everything was just perfect, don't waste your time looking elsewhere, a wedding on the square outside this hotel is the best ever.

My friend and I were both here last night for 3 nights and overall we really liked it. Friendly service and a great location amongst outstanding scenery really gave this hotel a sense of place. However, there were differences in experience, depending on which rooms we were in. I was in an annex building a few blocks from the main hotel/restaurant - room 29. I had an 80 step climb to my room, but that didnt bother me. The room was comfortable, had two bedrooms, and strong AC. Amazing views of the bay. Proximity to the pool, which was delightful. Bed comfortable and cozy. I loved it, and loved feeling like a local in Perast durign my tiem there. My friend was in an older room right behind the main front desk. Air conditioning was not strong in his room and even though they fixed it it was still warmer than he would have liked. Furniture seemed a bit more worn than in my annex. Breakfast was included and it was okay, not made to order. Several options though, and I appreciated that. We had dinner one night in the restauarant. Salads were delicious and unique but perhaps ordered incorrectly for the main as it wasnt great. Service so so. But spectacular setting. Overall I really enjoyed my stay at the Conte, but just be ware that there can be inconcistencies. I'd recommend staying in the annex, despite the climb up to my room.

Amazing place in a wonderful location. We had a 2 bedroom apartment which was very spacious with a lovely bathroom. The staff were amazing. When it was rainy one morning, they brought round an umbrella (unprompted) for us to use to get to breakfast. The breakfast buffet was very nice and they happily made a hot chocolate for my son. The swimming pool was small but fun with a lovely view and a bonus of towels provided and a drinks service. Overall a lovely hotel, lovely staff and highly recommended.
