Stayed for a week in August with a family group. Hotel is too far from Peschiera to walk and as others have said and if you do it’s the side of a very dangerous road. Jet2 should be advising this in their advert so guests are aware there is nowhere they can walk to. Had to pay for taxis constantly in/out of town. My parents are 70 and would never have managed the hill or the walk. This should be made clear. Reception not manned all the time and if you have a problem there is no one willing to help. Complete power cut in apartment and reception closed therefore no one would assist until the next morning. Check out was early and reception not open so unable to pay resort tax until they open - why not just take the payment on check in? Rather than have the rude security advising you that you must stay and pay - assuming I would run off rather than pay the €2 per night room tax. He literally stood over us until a receptionist came in early. Made to feel very uncomfortable. Staff on the whole very unfriendly and rude from check in to check out. Apartment had two working plugs which was a nightmare and none in the bedroom. A family of four sharing two plugs was not easy. Beds never changed during the weeks stay. Fresh towels thrown on the sofa once during the week. Bed settee in living room had leg missing! Other rooms had pool towels we were never given any even after asking. They don’t even give you enough toilet roll for your stay and you have to purchase some from a shop. Room very basic and the beds are literally a strange camping bed base placed on some wooden storage cubes - not great if staying a week. No kettle or oven so unable to cook in room unless on hob or microwave. On site shop sells hardly anything and fresh bread we only managed to get once as either sold out or not had any. Pool areas are lovely and these are kept clean. Sun loungers very good with a canopy for your head. Beware they close pool if there is a storm and then when brilliant sunshine later refuse to open it again!!! Lifeguards were apparently refusing to come back to work - not what you pay to go on holiday for - no use of pool. Breakfast awful - not worth €8 per day charge. Never any plates, never refill the token bit of hot food which is scrambled eggs and some warm ham. Staff rude in breakfast too. Food nice in on site restaurant and reasonable prices. Wouldn’t return as to sum up, apartment not cleaned or comfortable enough for a weeks stay, staff extremely unhelpful and some very rude, location of hotel too far from anything so costs a fortune in taxis.

Apartments are very clean but not very well equipped for self catering apartments. No toaster and no kettle and fridge wasnt very cold.Locks can be opened from inside by small children as the door only has a turn and release lock. The pool is fantastic for children but we were a bit stumped that the pool staff told us off for leaving our towels on our loungers when we returned from lunch. We were only gone 2 hours at most but there are 7 of us so it takes a while for everyone to have lunch, especially the younger children. Yet other people leave towels on loungers all day and only spent an hour or so by the pool! I'm not sure what the specific problem was there? And lastly the biggest downfall of this resort is the location. If you are happy to stay within the complex entirely for the duration of your stay then its fine, however the only way to get to and from there is by taxi (or a car if you have one). The village comes off a bypass/ dual carriageway so there is no access on foot to and from there to anywhere! so you need to pay for taxis and its not cheap. 15 euro during the day and 20 euro at night but the journey would only be around 15 mins on foot if you were able to. Most of the staff here were very lovely. There was a few with a less than helpful attitude. Our stay was pleasant enough but I would book somewhere closer to the town so you can just walk about and explore. Belvedere village could be great if they considered running mini buses or something similar to shuttle guests back and forward, since it is in such a remote place.

Just returned from a fantastic week at Belvedere Village. We are a family of 5 with three young children and we loved every minute of it. We have been to Pescheria Del Garda before and stayed in an overcrowded campsite with poor amenities and we were looking for something smaller in the same location with more of a hotel feel. This was perfect. We had read the reviews and knew that the location wouldn’t be the easiest for us to walk into the centre of Pescheria so we simply ordered a taxi each evening and for 10 euros we would get out half way and walk the last ten minutes to the centre and enjoy the beautiful scenery. There was no fight to get sun loungers in a morning which was so refreshing. There were plenty to go around and they were so spaced out. The kids loved the pool and the slides so much and enjoyed so much space to play in the water. They also loved the huge selection of ice creams and snacks at the restaurant and at only 2 euros per ice cream they had a different flavour every day. We had a 2 bedroom self catering apartment that was spacious and clean with good air conditioning. We had the apartment cleaned every day we were there and so many fresh towels not only for the apartment but for the sun loungers too. The hotel was nice and quiet. There are a few supermarkets only a 10 minute walk away which is nice and easy. We had an amazing holiday and even enjoyed an overnight stay in Venice half way through the week which was incredible and so easy to do as the train station is only a 5 minute drive away. The other evenings we spent dining at the most spectacular restaurants by the lake. We will definitely return to Belvedere Village as the location is perfect for us. Don’t read the bad reviews but be prepared that you will need a car or a taxi to get into the centre which for us was absolutely fine and all part of the adventure.

We are currently staying at Belvedere village and we love it! The apartment is basic but perfect for our needs and the pools are great. We have been out and about everyday but didn't hire a car, thinking that we'd be closer to Peschiera and the lake than we are. A mistake, you really would need one. Our kids are mid-early teens so they were able for public transport, connecting buses etc, but we did spend a lot of our time in the scorching heat (that the Irish are not used to!) waiting for buses etc. We tried to hire a car from the local Hertz but a recent freak fall of hailstones left cars destroyed and so there were no cars available. All of that said, we had a fantastic break, loved the resort and would recommend it to others for sure!

Honest review - I booked this property with JET2 and had a few concerns about the location - as I had read the area isn't suitable for walking to local peschiera del garda. I stayed with my husband and 3 children, it is close to bus stop and a 5 minute drive to peschiera train station. You can also travel to gardaland on the local bus (Times tend not to be that regular). We used the local taxis which the hotel reception happily booked for us (for a family of 5 in the AC. Average taxi for family of 5 was 15 Euro. We stayed at the property for 2 weeks in June. Weather was averaging 33-35 so A/C was on a lot. The accommodation is great, we chose to go Self Catering option, there is a brilliant Supermarket close to the property and found the prices really cheap (compared to UK) We spent a lot of time at the 3 pools with our 3 children, lifeguard always present. There is a small kids club, but my children didn't attend, you do find at this property it tends to be guests from Germany and Italy so the staff do cater for different nationalities. Staff are all super helpful and friendly. Especially Cristina at reception. The property is great value for money. We opted for a ground floor premium room which has its own terrace which is ideal with little ones and it was nice for them to be able to run around on the grassy area just outside the property. Would recommend and we are just pricing up for summer 2024 anticipating it would be really hot. This property is great with its choice of 3 pools

We are currently staying in the Belvedere Village Hotel with two babies. Since this morning a large group of students arrived with tour busses. They are placed above our family room and making a party with music and screaming. Hotel cannot help us so we need to deal with two crying babies which cannot sleep and are afraid. We booked this hotel specially for our kids so we did not expect this kind of guests. It is a shame that this hotel for children is allowing this and cannot fix this. Unbelievable.

This hotel is in an awful location if you’re not planning to hire a car. Half an hour walk from the Lake, restaurants etc, which would actually be ok if it wasn’t on a busy dual carriageway with no footpath. The food at the hotel is dismal. We’d paid to have breakfasts all week, the food selection is dull and everything runs out quickly. Absolutely not worth £8 per head per day. We ate at the restaurant on 2 evenings when we couldn’t face another walk up the death trap road. First time we all ordered pizzas. They were just like eating a frozen pizza from a supermarket, but perfectly edible. The second time I had lasagne. It was clearly microwaved and left too long before serving so it was cold, bland and not even as good as a microwave lasagne from a supermarket! The room was basic to say the least, it didn’t even have a kettle! Considering we were in a “premium apartment” I’m not sure what non premiums are like. It looked nothing like any of the photos we’d seen. Positives - the pools are great, the lifeguards are great and alert, the cleaners are great - dropping off an abundant amount of clean towels and making the beds daily (I’ve never stayed anywhere that only provides clean bedding once a week, but that’s not down to the cleaners) Would definitely not recommend

It is a great, clean and spacious place with fantastic views to enjoy a morning coffee. Only small let down was the noisy A/C unit which also did not cool effectively and needs to be looked at. Everything else was wonderful!

The Village has a good location with a great pool but they have to pay more attention to cleanliness since they have 4*.
