The hotel is located very close to Ayutthaya's train station. It also has a large parking lot out front in case guests arrive with their own transport. The rooms were comfortable, well appointed and clean, but were in need of maintenance and repairs. In that respect, they were slightly overpriced for what you got.
Since we stayed during the tourist off-season, occupancy was low. Probably as a result of that, hotel services were very limited. For instance, the hotel restaurant was only open for breakfast but shut during the rest of the day. Hence, no room service was available. But that was not a big issue as far as we were concerned, as we opted to have all our meals in town anyway. The big veranda overlooking the river bank was closed as well, but it was possible to buy drinks right in a 7-Eleven store right next to the hotel and consume them on the veranda.
Sone of Ayutthaya's attraction were just a short drive away, although a taxi ride is required to reach the main sites.
