The hotel beach 🏖️ was lovely, and the complimentary Sunset Town show and fireworks display were absolutely fantastic! It was quite busy during Chinese New Year, so there was a queue at the front desk, but the hotel pool was also great.

This hotel is located near the beautiful white sand beaches in southern Phu Quoc, right next to the JW Marriott. It shares the same beach and is conveniently situated beside a commercial street with a supermarket, local snacks, and Western restaurants. While convenient, the food quality is average. The hotel also provided tickets to the Kiss of the Sea show in Sunset Town, which was spectacular and definitely worth seeing.

The absolute highlight was the incredibly comfortable bed; once you're in it, you just don't want to get up. The room was very spacious and comfortable, easily accommodating a family of four, or even six with small children. Having two bathrooms was a lifesaver, preventing arguments, and drying clothes was convenient. However, as soon as you step out of the room, it's incredibly noisy. It's an apartment-hotel after all, so there are just too many people, especially a lot of loud children. You have to fight for chairs by the pool. The beach is decent, good enough for digging in the sand. Though, there's quite a bit of seaweed and other debris in the water. Breakfast was also like a chaotic market. The dinner buffet is worth trying, kids tend to like it. My advice for dinner would be to head to Mare in Sunset Town or the restaurants in front of New World; they're much tastier. Overall, this place is great for large families who enjoy a lively atmosphere. For us, with older kids looking for peace and quiet, the experience was far from ideal. We really should have chosen a resort-style hotel instead.

Next door to the south is the JW Marriott, and there's a free shuttle to Sunset Town. The beach is really nice, and you can walk over to the Marriott's beach. I saw some comments saying you could take photos at the Marriott, but actually, you can't. They have staff monitoring it, so you can only walk along the beach. Don't go into their hotel to take pictures, it's really not good! There are a lot of Russians and Koreans here. On the last day, the entire beach was packed, and all the sun loungers were taken. If that bothers you, you might want to reconsider this place.

The hotel environment is really nice, and the private beach is fantastic. The pools also offer different features to suit various needs. The daily breakfast spread is quite generous. However, the in-room facilities definitely show their age, and the shower water in my room kept getting colder the longer I showered, which was a bit puzzling. Upon check-in, we received a fruit platter and complimentary water and sugar-free Coke, which was a pleasant touch. Overall, I'm quite satisfied.
