Diamond Cliff Resort & Spa

Diamond Cliff resort is a beautiful resort to stay at. They have thought of everything. Welcome drink on arrival, bags taken to our room, room equipped with everything you could need including room slippers, waffle dressing gown, bottled water, tea coffee station etc. huge comfy bed, balcony with beautiful view. Breakfast buffet was incredible- best I have ever experienced. It included eggs cooked fresh to your liking, usual european options of bacon, sausages, beans etc, soup/noddle station cooked on demand, selection of 3 hot vegetarian dishes different each day, 5 different fish/chicken/pork stir fry’s, rice, roti, cheese station, extensive sushi station, salad station, fresh fruit juice, breads, croissants, pancakes, pudding -and I haven’t even listed everything!!! 2 beautiful pools one with slide for kids, gym, pool side bar. Plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas. Pool tools available. We used the trip booking facility in the hotel and it was very efficient and helpful. We got a gift of a basket of fruit which was a real treat. Lastly location was perfect- a short downhill walk to the beach if you are inclined but also very easy and cheap to get a grab or tuk tuk downtown and /or back from Patong for 200baht or less. Hotel also had a regular shuttle bus. Lastly staff at the hotel were so lovely.

Checked in by Komain and his customer service is top notch. Salamanee was assisting me with my booking and she did tremendously with her best. Will definitely come again.

I love the room and all the facilities in the hotel except the check out time I have waited 15 minutes for them to check the room before I can take back my deposit.

Breakfast is very good and a solid variety. Rooms. I had some issues with ants but housekeeping took care of it. The staff are friendly and kind. The hotel gave a gift card for a kg of fruit for our three-night stay. Shuttle service is needed as the rooms are a little far from reception but I think people with special needs may experience a challenge getting on and off. Check-in and check-out weren't bad. It took about ten minutes. We had a nice room with a great view. I would recommend this accommodation for families and couples. It's professional and affordable.

Had a wonderful stay at the hotel — the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, and the scenic views made it even more memorable. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway

⭐ 1 Star We had an extremely disappointing stay, especially considering we paid around $750 AUD per night for what was advertised as an all-inclusive experience. What we received was nowhere close to the description. Check-in was the first problem. The staff refused to believe that our booking was for a family of four, even though our confirmation clearly stated it. It took multiple emails and phone calls before they finally accepted it. They blamed the booking platform for “showing different information.” Only on day 2 did they provide meal vouchers for the kids — something that should have been resolved on arrival. It didn’t stop there. The hotel even demanded proof that our booking included drinks and snacks. We had to show screenshots from our booking confirmation, clearly listing what was included. Even after seeing the proof, they did not honour it and continued to blame the booking platform instead of taking responsibility. The “all-inclusive” package is extremely misleading: Lunch is limited to a 2-course set menu with very few options, while paying customers get a much larger menu. There is no minibar, no snacks, and nothing included in the room despite it being advertised. The hotel has several restaurants and bars, but the all-inclusive package applies to only one restaurant and one bar. If you’re at the kids’ pool, you’ll need to walk and climb nearly 100 steps just to get a drink yourself — staff refuse to help, which completely defeats the purpose of all-inclusive. To add to the frustration, Narisa Goji (Front Office Manager) initially agreed to help arrange a partial refund through the booking platform. But she later refused to communicate with them. For the price we paid, the experience was unacceptable: misleading advertising, poor communication, refusal to honour confirmed inclusions, and zero accountability from management. We will not be returning and strongly suggest choosing another hotel.
