It’s a great location near the ferry. It can be noisy at night but not horrible. The air conditioner initially didn’t work and the bedspread wasn’t clean but when I called the front desk they immediately took action and fixed it.

Very close to beach, ADO bus station and Cozumel ferry.
Swimming pool more like a bath tub.
Older property, but well maintained.
Spacious room.
No elevator.

The only good thing is the location, the staff's attention is terrible, they could not make their payment due to poor communication with the agencies they work with since they did not have confirmation of the reservation and my Trip had already sent me the confirmation and once the charge was made, they asked me for a guarantee of a thousand pesos that they later did not want to return to me despite showing that the confirmation and payment had already been made, I had never had a problem with Trip. Apparently the problem was with the hotel with who knows what agency, meanwhile they gave me a bad time. I would not return and do not recommend it due to its lack of professionalism.

Hacienda del caribe has a nice location, very close to la Quinta Avenida and all the restaurants.
You get what you pay for it is a very modest hotel.
We stayed for 2 nights and our internet didn’t work at all.
If you have a limited budget this hotel is a good option.

Hotel is quite a bit run down since we first stayed a while back…not much upkeep in the rooms or the property in general. Last time we were here there was a parking lot across the street, which no longer is in service, or we parked at there sister hotel, who h is no longer the case. Unfortunate as it made it difficult to find nooad luggage and find parking-the check in staff was no help either. It’s quiet enough though for a location within such close proximity to the avenue.

Clean and great staff. Check-in may be difficult after hours because the front desk is only staffed from 7am to 11pm.
The room was fine, kind of outdated but white water works perfectly unlike many other places i am Playa.
