Marlinton Motor Inn

This is a reasonable motel but the rooms and facilities are dated. The heat takes a while to heat the room. Rates are very reasonable.

My room was so cold that I had to ask for another one partly because the heater didn’t work. The second room was almost that cold but the heater worked a little bit better. I had to sleep in longjohns.

1 night good, 2 night making repairs in the roon above until 11pm , but overall a good place to stay. We would definitely stay again!

The room was not clean, bedsheets had not been changed, when I pulled back the top covers I found multiple stray hairs and dried blood in one of the pillows. I called the front desk and they said they would send someone over to change them. I went to the hotel bar to kill time while they came to change out the sheets, they had good drinks but the food was pretty terrible, when I got back to the room I found they hadn’t changed the sheets but they had piled new sheets in a heap on the corner of the bed. They offered to move me to the one available room but I didn’t want to risk it being any worse so I just brought my sleeping bag in and slept on top of the covers. I would rather camp out in the cold than stay here again.

the best place to stay if your going to snowshoe mtn, it was fun at the bar and really nice people.

I waited for over 30 minutes to check out and still no one was there. I had to leave the key at the office entrance door. I took photos to prove it was after 7:30 and the sign said it would be open from 7:00 an to 11pm.

Supposed to be non smoking room. Room smells strong of majunia and it was no microwave Staff was very friendly and helpful

The property needs updating. It is old but convenient from Snowshoe. Glad it's still there.

Safe, clean place to stay. We felt comfortable and the staff was very friendly. Microwaves are in the office, that was a tad bit inconvenient but it gave us a chance to chit chat with the staff. We had a great time and would stay again if we are in the area again.
