We stayed in cabin 42 and it had cobwebs in the bathroom lights and noticed the water was very hard. The WiFi did not work and affected watching TV given it continually wanted a password which was very annoying, The park owners either need to get that sorted or get rid of it as being told it does not work well in cabins does not fly given they are the most expensive in the park… The park is on a hill and makes getting around on foot more challenging. The ladies I encountered working in reception need reminding that providing a good customer service expwrience is what keeps people coming back and in turn helps to keep them employed… A simple smile and saying hello to park guests would be a good start. Also feel the park owner is not happy and customers are an imposition on his day...

Beautiful park with beautiful ocean views. We had an ocean view spot, was advertised as a beach front which is a little misleading as you aren't on the beach front, we were close but not quite on the beach front. When you see the beach front advertised you expect to be a few meters from the beach. We were a little way back but it was still beautiful. Wording needs to be changed to beach front views instead. Friendly staff lovely tidy grounds and the spot we had was very generous in size. Really liked it here. The private jetty was good for a walk and lovely to sit and listen to the waves at night.

We booked in July for a new years stay for 5 nights. We booked an unpowered site. Not the caravan parks fault, but I didn't know it was unallocated sites. Most of the unallocated sites are on a slope. Some (most) of them were on quite a slope and some just slightly. This would have been useful info to know, as we came with a tent. We ended up staying on the side of the caravan park as we found that had the most even surface. It was a couple of minutes walk to use amenities. The view was average at best, and the ground was mostly dirt with sporadic patches of grass. No jumping pillow, mini golf, go karts for the kids, but it did have a nice pool and a small children's playground. The jetty and beach are gorgeous. My son loved fishing there. The showers are outdated. I had to keep turning the shower off while in there (was in there 5 - 10 mins max), as it kept getting flooded and I didn't want the water to flow through to where people walked and have someone slip over. Wouldn't rush back there, we will probably stay at coffin bay or Tumby Bay next time.

We stayed at this park for two weeks on a work trip. I was divided on my experience as there are pros and cons to the park. Pros - great location with beautiful views. Flat sites to set up on. Nice pool. Nice new camp kitchen. Office staff were helpful. Cons - Shower blocks are very old and dated. Rotten, filthy dirty showers. Very expensive place to stay. Overall it was an ok stay but this is the only tourist park right in town so there aren’t any alternate options. Likely wouldn’t stay again.

I stayed at the Port Lincoln Tourist Park in December, 2023, with my husband and 5 year old daughter. The caravan park is well maintained and clean, our cabin had the most beautiful view of the ocean. We absolutely loved our stay, however, there was one night that the noise was very loud. There were permanent residents at the BBQ area playing extremely loud music with loud bass, my little girl couldn't sleep and the noise was scaring her (you could feel the bass thumping through the cabin). We called the after hours number to request that this matter be dealt with, however, the groundskeeper was intoxicated and swore at as stating that it was "party hour" and that he "isn't a security guard" (the man swore but I won't quote this language. The man answered the phone saying, "is the sky falling"?. Needless to say, I was very upset - almost at crying point and wanting to pack up and leave - we would have if we didn't have our little girl needing stability/routine. Despite this very awful experience, what followed was good. My husband spoke to the lady at the front counter the following day who immediately got in touch with the park manager, Brigitte. Despite Sunday being Brigitte's day off, she came to see us and apologised profusely. I believe Brigitte to be a very genuine and kind person, as were all the women who we engaged with in the office. The negative experience was the fault of one man who was very drunk and probably regretted his actions the next day. Hopefully he doesn't abuse any other families. We would recommend staying at this park because it's clean, has great views and the park is well maintained - the staff are also absolutely beautiful (except for the drunk groundskeeper). Surprisingly, we would stay at this park again because the rest of the staff were amazing and our holiday was otherwise everything we had wanted.

Great park and has clean amenities. The view was fantastic and the sites level. We didn’t have a booking and it was a long weekend but it wasn’t a problem - staff member was very helpful with our questions of the area too. There is plenty for children to do and direct access to the beach, you can even throw a line in off the man made piers! Just wished there was a bus service that took you to town, as it’s not a flat walk (approximately 40 mins).

My husband and I had booked an "access" cabin at this caravan park. We had just had three wonderful experiences with new "access" cabins in three different caravan parks on our journey to date but this "access" cabin was disappointing. It was also extremely expensive compared to the other cabins we had stayed at before. There was no view and it was next to the road.

The Tourist caravan Park is clean, neat and tidy with very spacious sites, it’s on the side of a hill but everyone has a flat site with beautiful views, ammenities are older but clean, staff are very friendly and helpful, we will stay there on our way back

We (myself, my wife, our daughter and wife's brother) have been traveling Australia full time for 4 months and we have stayed in a lot of parks in that time. Most parks have an average cost of $40-$50 per night with discount at both Gday and Big4 parks of which we are members. This park cost us $81 for the 1 night with discount. Not sure what we were paying for. We arrived late in the day of a rainy day that turned into storms and left at 6:30 the next morning. So didn't get to enjoy much of the "million dollar views" that I can only assume is how they can justify charging double of anywhere else we have stayed?? Amenities were old and filthy. I had a shower after we set up and had to go into the 2nd shower as there was an "out of order" sign on the door of the 1st. I went straight in, turned on water, had a good soak (it had been a long day), washed hair and turned around to see clumps of hair in the corners of the shower, hidden by a lip between the front cubicle and the shower part. I then had a look around and wondered when these amenities had been cleaned. Since then I have been less keen to use amenities and more thorough in checking out facilities before use. Needless to say we won't be back.
