Cenica Porto Hotel, Curio Collection by Hilton

Location and service was great and also quiet room. The hall and room carpet reel of dust or something, does not smell good (7th floor). Breakfast menu is same every morning and there are not much choices. Coffee is also the instant nespresso machine one. There is massage spa which was great, but do not have couple massage on our stay despite being shown at the menu list. Overall good but would try somewhere else for next time.

All the staff were friendly, helpful and professional. In particular we found Laura on reception most helpful describing the facilities at the hotel and assisting on booking them Laura also recommended places to visit in Porto , all good and where to eat. The spa was great , we would recommend Bea for a massage. A very clean and friendly hotel.

Just returned from a short break in Porto whilst staying at the Cenica Porto Hotel (18-20th June). It's a fantastic hotel, well situated with the old town and metro stations within easy walking distance. The reception staff were all very friendly and welcoming and went out of their way to give recommendations to make my stay more enjoyable. Just a great team. The room was large, comfy and clean, and the hotel benefits from having an indoor pool and hot tub.. which I found perfect for relaxing after walking around the city all day. I did eat at the restaurant on one of the nights and highly recommend it. The waiter was really helpful (again, all the staff here are fantastic to be honest) and gave me some great descriptions of the food. I had the Pork for the main course and honestly recommend it. All in all not a lot more I could ask for.

This was my third trip to Portugal, the first two to Lisbon. The first two stays at hotels I rated very good and the second excellent - Emerald House Lisbon. Granted, this was a 5 star hotel and the Emerald House was excellent (4 star), this surpassed it. The rooms were spacious and clean with all the amenities I could hope for. The restaurant and bar were superlative and pricing was very good, contrary to what a reviewer has written. The key element has been the staff, namely André and Juan at the bar, Ivon, the food and beverage manager, and Max. The front office had wonderful staff namely the 2 Ricardos, Tomas, and Laura. Overall, fantastic. The only surprising regret is that it was not fuller. We will be back in September/October for sure.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms were very comfortable - good hair dryers, clothes steamer and t/c maker. Pillow very comfy and the mattress was very supportive yet not hard. Bathrooms had superb showers L’Occitane soaps shampoos and Lotions with robes slippers and good towels. Breakfast was really nice with eggs cooked to order. We had dinner on arrival (late at night) light bites club sandwich - all really good food. Would highly recommend - while not right in the middle of the cultural area - it was just 10-12 minute walk from bars and restaurants - really quiet at night. And top class staff. Every one was professional friendly,not over powering, yet very helpful. Thank you for a great 3 night stay
