Torre a Mare Porto Venere

Great little family run hotel, the owner was so friendly and helpful. Our room had everything we needed and a cute balcony overlooking the town. Highly recommend this charming hotel.

Recently stayed here and it was a wonderful small hotel. We emailed that we would arrive around 2pm and Philipe the owner was there to greet us at the door. The room was European in size but perfectly appointed and we had a lovely balcony that overlooked the town. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Most of all be aware that there is no elevator and you must carry luggage up about 3 flights of narrow stairs. (Or ask for help!) Front desk not manned overnight. A few things on the listing were not accurate (breakfast situation, hair products available). The people working the desk were nice and helpful. And the sound insulation from outside was good, but between rooms I could hear other guests talking at normal levels (and later snoring) through the walls.

A lovely, small family hotel in a beautiful fishing port on the inlet leading to La Spezia, Italy. The rooms appear recently upgraded and we were provided with all the necessary requirements such as robes, slippers, good quality toileteries and a really comfy bed. The only negative is that, because of its limited size (in a tower) there is no lift to the rooms which are spread over 3 or more floors. Ok for the young and fit but more of a struggle for a pair of seniors! However, this was only a problem o arrival and departure and we wereon the first actual floor of rooms where the reception area is located. There is a small landing between the main door on the ground floor and the first floor (some temporary respite!). The village is very picturesque and friendly and we dined both nights at the restaurant run by the same family as the hotel. Great place for visiting the Cinque Terre villages though the is no bus service there so a bus to La Spezia Station and then a train is required. Thanks for a great stay!

great place, do not pick up your luggage with a car near the hotel door, you will be charged a parking violation ticket....even if you are there 3 minutes. Staff told us its ok, do not do it. views and surrounding area are very beautiful breakfast is in a nice little coffee shop below the hotel just do not park near the door , even on a rainy, low tourist day. There are cameras ticketing

The location of the property cannot be faulted, the bathroom products were of good quality and the staff were friendly. The room was cramped, with mere centimetres between the bottom of the bed and the wall. At the price, I wouldn't stay again.

We had a lovely stay. The location is splendid, the staff and manager very friendly, chatty and willing to help, the breakfast delicious. The room was cleaned daily. They also have the restaurant and Forno nearby. You must try their delicious focaccia. All in all a lovely experience!

Nice views from room balcony and roof top deck. Good breakfast and very nice staff. Comfortable beds as well.
