Really lovely hotel in a great area, near to the centre of Sirmione old town with all its restaurants and shops, yet has a peaceful, secluded feel to it due to it being two-three mins walk away from the touristy areas and surrounded by beautiful gardens. The staff were all excellent and very accommodating. A special shout out to the chatty barman who circulated the pool area to take drinks orders and the friendly waitress who managed breakfast every morning. The rooms were very clean and the decor was just what you’d expect, simple and modern. We were very happy to get a room overlooking the lake and to have such a spacious balcony. My only (very minor) critique is it would have been good to have a full length mirror in the room (112). We just had the bathroom mirror which wasn’t great for when my friend and I were getting ready. An additional bin in the bedroom or a bigger bathroom bin would have been good too, but no big deal! Thank you for such a great stay. I’ll definitely be recommending Hotel Desiree to friends and family. P.S the pool area was a really nice surprise. A beautiful, tranquil little spot surrounded by flowers and trees.

n Google If I could give it less I would! Terrible customer service! The communication was awful! We had reservations for parking and at 3:45pm that day, we received and email telling us there was no parking, the woman on the phone laughing was an extra special touch. Rooms were clean but tired at best. The receptionist claimed the hotel was completely booked but then when we talked to her about our rooms she claimed we she had upgraded us…. Really? How got downgraded then? It was a lie of course! Bar tender was super rude when my friend asked about a bottle of wine to buy it his response was “google it” . Breakfast was not that great lots to chose from but not so great. It’s our first time in Italy our first stop, let’s hope the rest of our trip is better than this. It’s a beautiful town with a wonderful lake but that’s about it

Really wonderful hotel, very helpful & polite staff, room was great, location was perfect would definitely stay again for longer next time, 10 out of 10, we used the shuttle from the car park and that was the right way to arrive at the hotel in our opinion

Excellent hotel. Clean and efficient. Staff were all excellent. Multi lingual English and German no problem for them. Room was a decent size. Bathroom was very clean, only had a shower, no bath. Towels and beds changed regularly. Two chairs on balcony to enjoy the amazing views of Lake Garda. Breakfast included and was excellent, great selection of foods including hot eggs and bacon and an array of cold meats. Food presentation was excellent but left out a little too long with flies around. Need covers on the sticky pastries. Sparkling wine for breakfast was a nice addition. Pool was nice but on an adjacent property which was not a problem, only a few steps from front door. Bar service to the pool was excellent. Bar prices were very reasonable considering the beautiful location. Will definitely go back again. Room with a view of the lake is a must. Greeted by very friendly reception staff which is always nice and a easy quick check-in at the hotel. Room is an average size for what we paid, nice, clean and modern with a small balcony overlooking the rear garden. The hotel is located about a 10min walk from the center of the town and about 15min walk to Jamaica beach where you can swim in the lake, very nice but watch out for the slippery rocks! There is a pool in the rear gardens so you can also relax there which is also nice. The breakfast buffet is a good selection and you are looked after by the gentleman there who was very attentive to our needs and a really nice person to speak to.

Such a wonderful hotel. From check in to check out nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Everything was spotless. The rooms were well equipped, without going overboard. The gardens and pool area were wonderful, and kept so well. Breakfast was fabulous, a fantastic choice and kept well stocked and fresh by the young lady that worked tirelessly every morning. We found every member of staff we dealt with friendly and helpful. We wouldn't hesitate to return and also recommend it to anyone considering a stay here.

Wonderful location, immersed in a wonderful garden with beautiful lake view. The best breakfast you can find. 10 minutes walking to the center, kind of convenient, but is located inside the ZTL, which makes it super difficult to cross the center by car to go in/out, this is super complicate.

Hotel Desiree is amazing. We spent 5 nights there from 1st May 2023. Wonderful location, clean and comfortable and the staff are all amazing, but a special thankyou to Valentina & Emidio. Breakfast was the best buffet breakfast we have eaten....so much choice and quality. Breakfast was made very special by the lovely Valentina who made time to greet us every morning , making sure we had everything we needed. The hotel bar is very relaxing with a good choice of drinks and bar snacks which we actually had as our evening meal on a couple of evenings during our stay. Emidio is a credit to the hotel so friendly and knowledgeable about everything from coffee to wine and cocktails. He always found time to chat to us despite being rather busy some evenings. Great hotel, I would definitely recommend .

The hotel is in a lovely position towards the tip of Sirmione with lovely gardens and swimming pool. We stayed in the Villa where for the Two couples had 3 double bedrooms which were both on suite, very clean with everything you would want. We also had a large lounge along with a kitchenette, a balcony and terrace. Breakfast severed in the main hotel, We have been fortunate to have stayed in many hotels around the world but the breakfast which was served ed up here was by far the best I have ever seen presented apart from having pretty much everything you could think of it, was wonderful.
