Hotel Santa Stefano in Sardinia Not all inclusive as all inclusive. The Italians probably have their different rules than other hotels in other countries. Travel agents sell the St. Stefano Hotel as all inclusive, but the reality is different and scary. You don't see a four-star hotel like this very often. The eye-catching video for clients is a luxurious and a little far from the truth. What is Italian all inclusive? You pay for everything during the day. It only includes coffee at breakfast, wine at lunch and dinner and soft drinks like water and then diluted water cola, fanta, sprite, etc... the outdoor bar, you pay all day, coffee, wine, beer and of course Aperol Spritz. There were two free alcoholic local beverages, suitable for a mixed drink. Taste is for everyone to judge for themselves. Towels for the beach for charge. DINING ROOM: Uncleared tables - they didn't manage to clear the tables after the meal, people had nowhere to sit, even 10-15 minutes standing with food in their hands waiting for the staff to clear the tables. This was especially the case at breakfast, but often also at lunch or dinner. The dining room consisted of several rooms. Some of the rooms were taped off NO ENTRY, only for VIPs, but no one sat there. Maybe they didn't feel like clearing so many tables, so people had to wait for the tribute for a free, clear table. The floor hadn't been mopped all week and you couldn't see through the portaloo window to the sea how dirty and grubby it was. At breakfast we found fries from dinner on the floor. Often unreplenished hand sanitizer in the dining room, but alas, alas not to have a drape on, albeit on for a second that you don't realize. The dining room was total chaos because the service was non-existent. You go for everything yourself, water, wine, coffee, unreplenished cutlery .... OUTDOOR BAR: Unhelpful and inexperienced staff. They see you standing at the bar, but they have their time to serve you, so there is nothing left but to ask for attention. Again, seating and tables are not cleaned. The seating is either sandbagged, dust or the cloth seats are wet with swimwear (it would probably need a different solution, the fabric isn't very happy choice). Afternoon coffee siesta? Unfortunately, you have nowhere to put your coffee again. Not even one table, at any one time, was not cleaned. We let our appetites go and only had water, which at least was complimentary. BEACH: Towels only for a fee, not included in the Italian all inclusive. You can't lie on the beach where you want. The first two rows by the sea again for VIPs, but again no one was lying there, so we don't know who the rare guests are VIPS. Certainly not the Czechs. ACCOMMODATIONS: The staff and the Italian clientele had classy accommodations. Some greenery around the rooms, large windows, sea view. Czech clientele? We had the feeling that we were staying ...., it is impossible to comment politely. The advertised garden view
