The hotel is beautiful, some parts are a little damaged, but in general it is very good, a lot of variety of food, drinks, the beach area is very well organized, the waiters come by all the time for drinks, the restaurant on the The beach is also very good, but the best of all is the people, all of them very, very friendly, warm, attentive, respectful, collaborate at all times… it's fine for Olan familiar…. We will come back! Thanks for everything.

The hotel service is very average. They don't clean the room every day and they don't make up for used or exhausted towels, toothbrushes, drinks, etc.

The resort was nice but worn down. It is in need of a lot of cosmetic repairs. The staff were very nice especially Eduardo our butler. The food was average it was not what we would consider 5 star. The buffet was a repurposing of whatever the restaurants didnt use.

We did not receive the room w/ a king bed that we reserved through ******* and were told by an employee that it was "preference and not guaranteed" so wife and I had two double beds to start off our anniversary trip. After days of hounding the staff and repeatedly checking they did finally move us but repacking everything then unpacking again was a pain and disruption to the trip. The Colonial Club perk of a "personal butler" was a joke and he really did nothing for us and rarely came around. The adult only pool w/ cabanas and swim up bar (July was an amazing and friendly bartender) were nice. Everyone in our group got sick from something they ate or drank during the trip - not sure if they rinse their food w/ non filtered water or what the issue was but I've never gotten ill at a resort before (including this one that I've been to previously). They highly encourage you book excursion with their guys but when they told me part of the cost HAD to be paid in cash it seemed suspect. Overall the resort was clean and well maintained and a LOT (not all) of the staff was friendly and helpful. The food was average but what you would expect for the region and we were able to find something we enjoyed at most restaurants. Overall wasn't horrible but probably would not return to this resort based on this experience.

It was our second time there in the last 11 months… we love the resort especially the staff!!! The food at the beach buffet fell short from our first visit last February. But over all we love the resort

We were here for 10 days from Jan 7-17th 2024. We lucked out and had fantastic weather the entire time. ******* messed up our reservation so we didn't get to stay in the area of the resort we paid for. After several calls we thought the issue had been rectified but then there was no availability (those rooms were inevitably booked). Id recommend reading over your reservation thoroughly as the photos dont match what you think your reserving for. Although it looks like there is a lazy river, it is not; its a trailing pool. The resort was clean, some areas were more of an 80's decor so a little outdated but getting around was easy, very walkable. Beaches were public so you could go for a long walk along the whole beach. The foam party in the pool was a lot of fun. Food was average. Too many options to perfect i suspect. They did a great job with fish. Could minimize wordiness of menu as it confuses things. French restaurant was nearly impossible to get into. I wished the caribbean restaurant had more of a mexican vibe. I didn't appreciate the food there much. All i wanted was a good guacamole and chips and couldnt find it anywhere. Most of the staff are very friendly. Id imagine the ones that aren't are just fed up with guests that are disrespectful, messy and never tip which i witnessed. Just because your on holidays people; doesn't mean you can take advantage of people. All around, i would go back to the resort again. Id like be very careful and confirm the type of room.

We will definitely be going back to this resort. The staff was great, amenities were clean and gorgeous, and there was never a boring moment. We cannot say enough good things.
