Jiaobao Inn (Qingdao Zhanqiao Zhongshan Road Branch)

I was traveling with my mom, and we booked this hotel because she absolutely loved the room's decor. The Voyage (a nearby landmark/attraction) is just around the corner, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing and photos; we found ourselves walking past it constantly. The room itself was very clean. I have to give a special shout-out to the shower head – the water pressure was strong and comfortable, and the water temperature was just perfect. As frequent hotel guests know, some showers can be incredibly frustrating with weak or erratic water pressure, so this one was a major highlight. The hotel service was excellent; a lovely staff member even helped us with our luggage. We'll definitely choose to stay here again on our next visit!

My stay here truly exceeded all expectations! The hotel boasts a fantastic location, making it incredibly convenient for exploring shops and finding delicious food. It's also well-connected by public transport. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful and thoughtful; check-in was a breeze, and they patiently answered all my inquiries. The room was sparkling clean, and the bed was so comfortable, I never wanted to leave it! The soundproofing was impressive too, ensuring a peaceful and restful night's sleep. While breakfast wasn't included, the surrounding area offers a plethora of fantastic and diverse breakfast options, which truly wasn't an issue at all. Overall, it offers excellent value for money. I'll definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to the area!

Jiaobu Inn boasts a superb location; it's right next to the subway station and surrounded by numerous attractions. The rooms are spotlessly clean, and the service is incredibly thoughtful. Both the front desk and housekeeping staff are warm, friendly, and very attentive. The area is also perfect for a city walk, with a pedestrian street and Zhanqiao Pier easily accessible. A particular staff member, a kind gentleman from Northeast China, provided exceptionally enthusiastic and sincere service, even helping us with our luggage. Truly commendable! ❤️❤️❤️

## Location: The location is incredibly convenient: just across the traffic light from the Zhongshan Road subway station exit, right on the main street. Taxis are also easy to hail. With public transport (bus and subway) right at the doorstep, getting anywhere is effortless. Zhanqiao Pier is also within walking distance, and the stroll there is quite pleasant, allowing you to admire the architecture and browse the small shops along the way. Just a heads-up, during hot weather, it's wise to stay cool. ## Environment: The courtyard itself is very quiet. Surrounding it are many small shops, accessible through a back gate from the courtyard – just knock and you can step right in to explore them, which was a fantastic feature. We'd read reviews suggesting ground-floor rooms are more convenient, so we booked one. However, the garden-style courtyard made it a bit challenging to wheel our luggage. But the front desk staff (the young gentlemen, in particular) were incredibly helpful, always carrying our bags in and out. Our suitcases were quite heavy, so we were truly grateful for their assistance! ## Stay Experience: The bedding was quite comfortable, although the pillows were a bit too soft. It would be ideal to have both a soft and a slightly firmer pillow option to cater to different preferences. The air conditioning kept the room refreshingly cool, but it seemed to lack a dehumidifier function (or we couldn't find it), making the room feel a bit too damp. Clothes hung out in the courtyard took a while to dry, but having a washing machine to pre-spin them helped a bit. Each room has its own private courtyard perfect for tea and conversation; on hot days, we simply moved our tea setup just outside our door, which was equally pleasant. We did notice a slight odor in the bathroom, but after mentioning it to the front desk, they promptly cleaned it again for us. Overall, our stay was very enjoyable, and we would definitely choose this place again on our next visit to Qingdao. The people of Shandong are genuinely warm, friendly, and talkative – they never showed any signs of annoyance, which we truly appreciated!

This is a very atmospheric old building. It boasts a charming small courtyard complete with a swing. The rooms were pretty decent and clean, my only minor complaint being the lack of a TV. In terms of location, the subway station is right across the street, making it incredibly convenient for travel.

The inn calls guests in advance to confirm their check-in time and offers free parking, which is a huge convenience. It's located right by Dabao Island. Transportation is incredibly convenient, making it easy to get anywhere. Definitely recommend! Being an older building, the soundproofing isn't the best, but other than that, everything was good.
