The room's location is fantastic! It's within easy walking distance of the Underwater World, many nearby restaurants, and popular photo spots around Reef Cafe and Comic Street. On the way, you even pass by the 'When I Run Towards You' snack shop – I didn't notice it the first time, only realizing its popularity after seeing many people taking photos there. The room offers direct views of Zhanqiao Pier. It comes with a fridge and freezer, which was very helpful for storing breast milk and made traveling with a baby much more convenient. There are plenty of breakfast options nearby, and a short walk to University Road will lead you to many wonton shops. The staff helped with luggage and promptly refilled disposable amenities, plus there were plenty of complimentary snacks available at the front desk. The only minor drawback was that room Z2 had a noticeable smell, possibly due to a recent renovation. Otherwise, everything was excellent, making it an accommodation experience that far exceeded our expectations.

Direct sea views right from the window! The sunrises and sunsets here were beautiful and peaceful. A huge thank you to the guesthouse staff. They were incredibly helpful and accommodating throughout our stay, from picking us up and assisting with our luggage at check-in, to helping us move our bags again at check-out. They truly catered to our every need. Their perfectly balanced service was truly wonderful – attentive without being intrusive. We're so grateful for all their hard work! Anyone who's looked for accommodation in Qingdao during peak season knows the struggle. After two full days of screen-staring and eye-straining, I ended up doubling my budget for this sea-view guesthouse. The moment I opened the door, a sense of calm washed over me. This charming little villa has so much character; even my mom, who's usually hard to please, couldn't stop praising it. The distant view of Zhanqiao Pier from the window held us captive for a good ten seconds. The room's facilities are very new, and the soft furnishings are tastefully chosen. Upon entering, there's a subtle, pleasant aroma. Even with my mild OCD for cleanliness, the place was visibly spotless, and they even provided face towels – a thoughtful touch. When we went for a stroll, we found that China Ocean University is just around the corner. The area is dotted with charming villas featuring yellow walls and red roofs, cafes, and creative shops. It's super photogenic, you'll get amazing shots! Xiaoyushan Park, Signal Hill, Luxun Park, the beach, and the Naval Museum are all within walking distance. Even slightly further attractions are easily accessible by taxi, all within about 20 minutes. Aside from the prime location and stylish decor, the service was also impeccable. Beyond basic courtesies like helping with luggage, the owner even created a local food map. As she puts it, 'nothing is impossible for me' – truly a problem-solver! Seriously, go add this amazing owner on WeChat; her Moments feed is as delightful to explore as the B&B itself! The only downside is you might experience withdrawal symptoms when checking out. My contact note for her has already been changed to 'The woman who will take my money again next time' – a testament to how much I want to return!

The host was incredibly accommodating, quickly helping us switch to a king-size bed – a massive 2.2 meters, which was unbelievably comfortable! Once settled in, we found the place to have a charmingly retro vibe with minimalist decor. Every single amenity reflected immense attention to detail; the host's thoughtfulness truly shone through. From the slim, velvet-flocked hangers that protect clothes, to the soft, comfortable disposable face towels and handy disposable bath towels perfect for a trip to the public baths, nothing was overlooked. The toiletries were from a reputable brand (like IKEA, which was a pleasant surprise), and there was a great selection of cups, neatly arranged alongside disposable paper ones. We even got complimentary high-quality cookies! Outside the room, there were children's toys and a variety of snacks, plus an abundance of power outlets. All these little touches underscored the host's dedication. This is hands down the most comfortable accommodation I've ever experienced; even five-star hotels can't compare. The booking video was exactly what you got – 'what you see is what you get' – without an ounce of exaggeration. In fact, it was even better in person. Waking up, I was immediately captivated by the distant sea view and took countless photos, only wishing my photography skills were good enough to truly capture its breathtaking beauty. The lush, green courtyard also provided a wonderful space for the kids to play freely. Next time I visit Qingdao, I will absolutely be staying here again! I rarely write such extensive reviews, but this guesthouse genuinely deserves every word!
