Qingdao May Fourth Square Olympic Sailing Center Hampton by Hilton Hotel

This hotel is absolutely fantastic! It's incredibly conveniently located, making getting around super easy. The whole place is spotlessly clean, the service is warm and attentive, and the facilities are modern and well-appointed. The soundproofing is excellent, guaranteeing a truly comfortable night's sleep. It offers incredible value for money. I highly recommend it and would absolutely choose to stay here again! A small suggestion for breakfast: I'd love to see more filling in the wontons, and the soup was a touch too salty. Luggage storage was excellent. The lobby is spacious and comfortable. There were no unpleasant odors in the room. However, the bathroom door was a little too transparent for my liking.

Booking outside the peak tourist season, the price under 500 was truly fantastic value. The slippers and towels were high-quality and comfortable. You absolutely *must* wake up for breakfast, otherwise you'll be missing out big time! 😛 It's so incredibly generous that if you eat it late, you won't even need lunch. I also received a complimentary room upgrade. The room itself was consistent with other Hampton by Hilton properties I've stayed at, just as good as always. The location is quite decent, very close to May Fourth Square. While the subway station is about a 15-20 minute walk, I'd still recommend taking a taxi – especially avoiding school rush hours, as there are many schools in the area.

Had an absolutely wonderful stay here. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and courteous, always going above and beyond to help, and extremely prompt in their service. They even kindly upgraded our room and graciously accommodated our request for a late check-out. The hotel's gym is state-of-the-art, fully equipped, and open 24/7. Our room was spotless, and the bedding was super comfortable. I will definitely be back!

The versatile lobby offered plenty of complimentary ice cream, snacks, and drinks. Our room was impeccably clean, comfortable, and tidy, and the overall ambiance was great. While the rooms aren't particularly spacious, the bedding was excellent and the bathrooms comfortable. The location is very convenient; it's quite close to attractions like the Olympic Sailing Center, May Fourth Square, the Beer Museum, and Polar Ocean World, all within about a 10-20 minute reach. A major plus is the array of great local eateries nearby, offering everything from BBQ and Japanese cuisine to grilled meats. A highlight for the kids was the complimentary popsicles in the lobby – they'd grab one every morning before heading out and another upon returning, doing this every day of our three-day stay! The front desk staff were also incredibly friendly and helpful. Overall, this hotel is a very convenient choice for a trip to Qingdao, and we would definitely consider staying here again!

The service was warm and attentive. A friendly gentleman at the front desk, who somewhat resembled actor Ma Ke, proactively upgraded us to a room with a sofa bed as we were traveling with a child. Much appreciated! Information about the laundry room was conveniently displayed on the in-room TV, which made it very easy to do our washing and drying during our afternoon rest at the hotel. The hotel is located near a commercial area, offering plenty of dining options. Just a short walk away, there are Korean restaurants and a local wonton shop that serves both delicious wontons and BBQ. Qingdao Station is only a 10-15 minute drive away. This place is definitely worth considering if you're traveling with children.
