Not centrally located but easy enough to commute to. The check in was smooth. The attic room was very spacious and the tatami bed was comfortable. Everything was clean and in order. I recommend this place.

Very affordable place next to the beer festival and the beach. The owner doesnot speak english but is very friendly.

really cozy especially when the weather is colder. located in the heart of the city, right smack in front of golden beach where the annual festival takes place. owner is highly lenient and understanding. also suitable for long term stays

The atmosphere is incredible, and the owners and their husband are incredibly nice! Traveling isn't just about the scenery; it's also about the local customs and people. The experience I had at this hostel in Qingdao was unlike anything I've ever experienced before! It had that wonderful, old-school hostel vibe where everyone's hanging out together, not just a bunch of people minding their own business. I don't know how to put it, but you'll understand once you're here!
Finally, let me talk about the ambiance. You can actually see the ocean! It's not far from the beach and bathing area, and the beer festival is just across the street. If you're visiting for the beer festival, I highly recommend this hostel!
For takeout, you don't have to leave the complex or go downstairs to pick it up—super convenient!
