The hotel's location is fantastic. It's very close to the subway station entrance, convenient for both the train station and the North Station. Plus, there are plenty of great food options nearby, and the pier is only 900 meters away. The room facilities, cleanliness, ambiance, breakfast, and the hotel's service are all excellent. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit.

Staying in Qingdao during the summer is incredibly expensive. Most hotels around May Fourth Square had highly inflated prices. Eventually, we looked further afield and found this old villa hotel with a reasonable price, which we happily booked. Upon arrival, we discovered it's located on a very prominent commercial street. However, there was a minor snag during check-in: the air conditioner in our room simply wouldn't turn on. After calling the front desk, a staff member came up, then called a repairman who proceeded to start working on it right in front of us. I was quite taken aback! I stood there awkwardly for about ten minutes before heading back down to request a room change, concerned about the dust and debris that would inevitably get on the floor and bed during repairs. Thankfully, we successfully changed rooms. This initial incident definitely merits a deduction; AC repairs shouldn't be done in front of guests, a room should only be made available once everything is fully functional. After the room change, however, everything else was very satisfying. Both the room and breakfast were excellent. The room was clean and tidy, and they even provided complimentary Laoshan Cola daily, which we really enjoyed. The breakfast offered a great variety and tasted delicious, featuring items like clams and large prawns. My husband particularly enjoyed them, commenting on how good they tasted! Overall, it would have been a perfect stay without that initial hiccup. The hotel's on-the-spot service and problem-solving skills definitely need some improvement!

The luxury family room we booked felt like a garage the moment we stepped inside. It was essentially a stuffy, box-like room with no ventilation. Due to its location on a busy thoroughfare leading to the hotel, there was considerable noise, making the overall experience for families seeking a quiet environment quite average. However, the hotel's inner courtyard is indeed very beautiful, and it offers very convenient transportation. I believe a room facing the inner courtyard would be much better. I would not recommend the luxury family room for those traveling with young children. The front desk staff, particularly the young lady and gentleman, were very thoughtful and attentive, and their service is truly commendable. Overall, I recommend choosing a different room type, as the family room has considerable room for improvement.

This hotel, a beautifully renovated century-old 'Li Yuan' (a traditional Qingdao courtyard house), truly embodies the history of Qingdao. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was immediately struck by its profound cultural ambiance. The corridors are adorned with old photographs and relics that silently narrate the building's rich past. Its location in Dabao Island is fantastic, offering plenty of dining and exploration opportunities nearby. Public transport is also incredibly convenient, with subway and bus stations just a short walk away. The hotel staff were exceptionally attentive and welcoming, always going the extra mile to assist with any requests or issues. Overall, a truly wonderful experience.

The room was spotless and well-equipped, featuring a charming retro-style courtyard design. Most importantly, it's located right on Shangjieli Pedestrian Street, which I consider Qingdao's best spot for photos, shopping, and soaking in the local vibe (Yinyu Lane is close but doesn't compare). As soon as you step out, you're surrounded by various small shops, so you'll have no trouble finding food, drinks, or entertainment. Don't bother booking breakfast with your room; there are plenty of breakfast options right across the street. You're also right on the famous Zhongshan Road. The Cathedral is just a short walk away, and if you head south for about 800 meters, you'll reach Zhanqiao Pier, perfect for playing in the sand by the sea. On your way back, a seafood meal at '1937' is highly recommended and truly satisfying. The hotel also has a designated, very convenient parking lot, just about a 5-minute walk away. For day two, if you plan to drive to Badaguan, simply search for 'Badaguan Scenic Area Taipingjiao 1st Road Ground Parking Lot' for convenient parking. From there, you can walk along the coast directly to Huashi Lou (Flower Stone Building) and then explore the area's other attractions at your leisure.
