Qingdao Chengyang District Hotels

Rating the Facilities a 1/5 because THERE IS NO LAUNDRY ROOM AS ADVERTISED. Every other aspect of this hotel is great. The location is maybe a little far away from everything, and inconvenient unless you want to be a close car ride away from Qingdao's airport, but it really is a great hotel. Extremely welcoming and attentive staff - one concierge saw that I was struggling with Mandarin and offered to help me check in my reservation in English, even, but when I asked about using their laundry room I was informed, very politely, that this hotel does not have a laundry room on site for guest's use. I want to reiterate, the staff was very polite and attentive, and they offered to help me have my laundry washed by their laundry service, which they do provide for the usual fee charged by hotels, but I booked this hotel specifically because their Trip.com listing led me to believe their hotel had a laundry room for their guests. This is not the fault of the staff working at the hotel, this is a managerial issue. The cleanliness and comfort of the actual room itself was excellent, nothing to complain about there. Highly recommend this hotel, just don't make the same mistake I did and book a room expecting to be able to wash your own laundry.

This was our third stay at the Wyndham during our 8-day trip to Shandong Peninsula. My daughter absolutely loves it, especially for its small petting zoo. We checked in after 10 PM, and Manager Cao Bo was incredibly helpful, upgrading our room and providing a complimentary children's breakfast. We did encounter a minor issue during breakfast, but the restaurant manager (Zhang) and a short-haired female manager at the front desk handled our feedback exceptionally well and resolved it to our full satisfaction. Even though the problem originated with an individual staff member, the hotel's dedication to providing impeccable customer service as its top priority truly shone through, which was incredibly reassuring. Should we get another chance to visit Shandong, Wyndham will definitely be our first choice again.

Stayed for business as it was near the football stadium. No complaints, clean and good service. Plenty of restaurants and shops nearby.

The service was excellent. The staff were very friendly and obliging. They allowed me to change my book after I arrived. The room was luxurious with all facilities and was clean. The food was excellent and included a wide variety of Chinese and also western food.

The hotel is conveniently located in Central Chengyang City. Traffic access is good and not heavy. There are many good Korean, HK and Chinese restaurants around the hotel. Checking in is a wonderful experience with efficient and friendly staff. The daily buffet breakfast is excellent with a good spread of Chinese and Intercontinental spread. One commendable service is the nightly porridge and tea which is great for a light supper before resting. The ground floor is also a great place to meet with colleagues. Luckin coffee served round the clock is also another excellent service.

The hotel is located in Chengyang District, surrounded by excellent amenities and convenient transportation. There's a night market and plenty of great restaurants nearby, making it perfect for shopping and dining. The hotel environment is quiet and immaculately clean, with a very comfortable overall atmosphere. Its decor is modern and smart-tech enabled. I recommend the family-style room for a family of three; it's very spacious. Even though we only stayed for one night, the comfort was exceptional. The hotel also provided a welcome gift upon check-in, which was a warm and unique touch. I truly loved this hotel. I would definitely choose to stay here again if I get the chance. 😊

Whenever we encountered an issue, she was always the first to proactively coordinate, patiently listened to our needs, and provided solutions that were both efficient and reassuring. Her professionalism and warmth truly embody the hotel's high-quality service; the attention to detail was impeccable and left a lasting impression. I will absolutely choose to stay here again next time and recommend it to all my friends! (As a bonus, since I stayed for a longer duration, the hotel even surprised me with some Laoshan Cola and Baishecaoshui, which was a delightful touch!) Facilities: One elevator broke during the stay, there is only one elevator, the space is small: ( The breakfast is standard, business-style, and convenient. It is worth praising that it is served until noon:) Few hotels can do this, and there is afternoon tea and good night porridge. Although we did not ask for afternoon tea and good night porridge, the hotel can consider these needs and is very attentive:) The business philosophy is very smart, without too high a cost, but it makes the guests feel considerate. And everything in the room is intelligent, and the service can also be ordered for free by mobile phone. There is laundry, which is collected and delivered by robots. I hope all business hotels can learn from you to operate in this way, so that guests can feel everything is so convenient and provide so many detailed services! The hotel lobby has several large hollow table lamps with unique design, a landscape elevator, and separate wet and dry areas in the rooms. I especially want to praise the hotel's thoughtful and meticulous service attitude. Front Office Manager Zhang Aixi and her colleagues learned that my mother's stay in the hotel coincided with her birthday, so they specially prepared a small surprise, which added more warmth and joy to this special day. Haiyue Yuhua Hotel is worth recommending!
