Qingdao Laoshan District Hotels

Staying here for a night with a deluxe room at 20th.floor where there's a slight corner sea view. love it!. The only downside is the wooden floor is a bit dusty. food served for the celebrity buffet and morning breakfast are delicious and lots of varieties. Overall is a pleasant stay at MGM Qingdao. will definitely be my priority choice for next visit to Qingdao.

Staying here for 3 nights. it is very convenient that it's above the metro station and beside shopping mall. The room conditions are normal and the most impressed is the front desk personnel 彬彬. His service and kindness of changing our room from 6th.flr to 10th.flr on the 2nd. day after we found that the first night was very noisy because the room facing highway. Breakfast was not as good as described by some reviews. Overall is just fine to stay because of it it's location.

The location is good, which is in the laoshan district, half an hour driving from qingdao north railway station. Took the whole family to the polar ocean park. By the way, the ocean park is a must visit. We can see both the polar bear and the penguins, as well as the dolphin/ whale/ seal performance. Cleaning service is satisfactory. Thanks to “张冬梅” who provided high standard service and gave us extra drinks. We request kids slippers on the first night and then the second day we found out both kids slippers and tooth brush are in the room. Very proactive

The room is clean and the environment is nice. You need to take a taxi to the scenic area service point. It's very close to the beach, and there are a lot of food nearby, and the taste is pretty good. The hotel is self-managed, and it is not very convenient to find someone when you need something. They do not provide bottled drinking water, and they say the water in the pipes is purified Laoshan spring water. The service is rather rough and the person who contacts you speaks loudly, which is probably the habit of the locals. But the room and rooftop are nice.

The hotel is next to the Shilaoren Beach, an ideal place for catching fish and watching the sunrise, as well as a good place for a relaxing vacation. It is only a few minutes' walk from the subway and convenient to other attractions. The hotel has a beautiful environment and a unique and tasteful design. The sea view rooms are spacious and bright, well-equipped and have unparalleled sea views. You can watch the sunrise without leaving the room, which is really enjoyable. The breakfast food is rich and varied, delicious, and the unique seafood porridge and noodles with Qingdao characteristics are surprising. Special praise should be given to the staff in various positions for their high professionalism and their initiative in serving the guests. Many times when we looked up in the lobby, corridor or restaurant, there were staff members who took the initiative to ask if there was anything they could help with. Their attitude was warm and considerate.

Decided to visit Qingdao on a whim, so I booked this established hotel. A big thank you to the warm and attentive front desk staff! They were super helpful and changed my room to a king-size bed last minute after I realized I'd booked the wrong room type. And wow, that king bed was massive! The room itself was also very spacious, and they even provided a selection of pillows. The breakfast selection wasn't huge, but there was certainly enough to eat. The lady making noodles at breakfast was incredibly patient, adjusting portions and blanching various vegetables for guests. The room cleaning staff were also fantastic! During the Beer Festival, the front desk even had a beer tasting counter. The location is a bit further from the city center, but I chose this area specifically for surfing. It's about a 10-minute drive from Shilaoren Beach and about 30 minutes by car to Mount Laoshan. Cons: Parking is quite limited, and there are no EV charging stations.

Hygiene: I really hope a hotel with such a nice environment can improve its hygiene management. As soon as I entered, I found a dirty comforter. They changed it, but then I noticed a mark on the sheet under the other bed – it turned out to be a bloodstain on the mattress pad. I had to contact the hotel again to get it changed. The next morning, the small bowls at breakfast weren't clean. 😓😓😓 Environment: The environment is very good, and the decor is grand. Service: After booking, they changed my check-in and check-out times, which didn't feel great. Could the hotel's toothbrushes be a bit better? The bristles fall out as soon as you brush! 😰😰😰 And they didn't provide children's slippers or anything when we brought a child. Facilities: The hardware facilities are all quite good.

Very close to the sea, just a few minutes walk to Shilaoren Beach in the morning. The hotel has ample parking, and there are many restaurants and hotels nearby. Turn left out of the hotel and you're in Laoshan District within a few kilometers, so the location is perfect 👌. Oh, and there were welcome fruits too. Definitely recommend. I didn't get a chance to visit the 300-meter-high mountain and sky (Yun Tian) that was included, which is a bit of a shame.

Close to the subway, walking is very convenient, and there is no slope. 24 years of new hotel, facilities are good, the only problem is that the toilet has a sound, the second half of the night feels that the vacuum pressure is too high when the other room is flushed, resulting in a special sound. The bath water is very good, about 30 minutes walk from the stone elder. The front desk service is OK, there is a guy who seems to be not familiar with the business, breakfast is OK

If there is a direct pass that is not good for hygiene, it turns out that there is no wrong choice. I live on the 8th floor. The cleaning aunt will come to clean up carefully every morning. Environment: The overall environment is good, that is, there is an uphill road to the subway station, and the walk is a bit tired. It is recommended to take a taxi. Would recommend to friends.
