Los Altos created an incredible family experience! The rooms are large, beautiful, spacious and the staff is friendly and accommodating. We had a huge kitchen, full size refrigerator, and beach views from our balcony! The master and kids bedrooms have private balconies as well. Each room has a private AC, there is a large great room with couches and tables right off the kitchen for movie nights! Breakfast is included in the morning at the open air restaurant and it is delicious! There is a fresh homemade juice each morning from all the local fresh fruits. The pool is an infinity overlooks the jungle and beach! There are 2 hot tubs and the pool deck has covered side cabanas with fans and lights. You can order food and drinks while you swim and watch the beach and jungle! There was a sloth and monkeys right in the tree by the pool! It was so fun to see. There is shuttle truck- safari style with benches in the back to take you to the beach (a few minutes ride through the jungle) while you go, the driver stops to show you the wildlife- we saw 2 sloths all in the first day! They come and pick you up when you're ready and set out beach chairs and umbrellas for you when you get there. The beach is private and GORGEOUS! There were large rocks on the sides that created tide pools where we found all types of ocean life, sea glass and took stunning pictures. The water was warm and the waves were really fun to play in. Again- the beach is private! It was such an amazing experience. We played pool, air hockey, ping pong etc... in the large game room, my son blue toothed to the huge speaker and we enjoyed a couple hours just playing games! Manuel Antonio National Park is 10 minutes away. We rented a car, (buy tickets online first!) And were able to park and hike around on those incredible beaches and trails as well! It was heaven! We also traveled to Eco Chontales and Nauyaca falls for a day before coming back and relaxing in the hot tubs. In addition to the yummy restaurant on site, here are lots of close restaurants- we recommend El wagon wood fired pizza and El Avion (airplane) to watch the sunset! There are hiking trails on Los Altos property, also a hanging bridge with platform! There are free cooking classes (empanadas- yummy!), yoga, and trails to explore the jungle. You will love Los Altos! It created the most incredible memories and experience we will always treasure. If you're heading to Costa Rica- I highly recommend this resort. Have a great vacation!

This was a lovely hotel with outstanding ocean and rain forest views ...the service was splendid and special kudos to Andres, butler and front desk manager who could not have been more accommodating, warmer, and more delightful. What an asset he is! Pool area is especially lovely and breakfasts are divine!

This was our first trip to Costa Rica and we were so fortunate that our tour company booked us at Los Altos. We stayed in a townhouse - incredible views, lovely furnishings, incredible surrounding. The staff was so friendly, food was delicious.

Los Altos Resort was great! The Villas are absolutely worth it for a romantic getaway. They are the most private accommodation on the property and have a great living space in addition to a rooftop balcony, shower, hot tub, and mini pool. The service was fantastic. Andy, Ronald, and Emily were extremely helpful navigating the resort and Manuel Antonio. The spa was great as well. Only cons were the beach is a bit rocky and can be rough at times but it is still beautiful to sit and relax down there. The on site restaurant could be better. Their breakfast was pretty good but dinner was not as good. Overall, this was a fantastic resort with a great staff.

We stayed in Villa 2 while at Los Altos. We had beautiful views of the ocean and magnificent sunsets. The Villa was very large and comfortable. We enjoyed our own plunge pool and jacuzzi on the balcony level. Our butler, Andy, took exceptional care of us! The breakfast was cooked to order and very delicious! The only drawback was this was our first stop in Costa Rica, and it was difficult to leave. The bar was set so high, it was hard for the subsequent resorts to measure up.

Los Altos is a wonderful small hotel with a wide variety of rooms, all of which are incredible. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Andres checked us in and showed us around the gorgeous grounds. He was extremely professional and helpful for our entire stay. The rooms were clean and had all of the amenities we could have possibly wanted for our stay. The food at the on-property restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced. Overall, this hotel was a fantastic experience and a great value. 10/10 recommend!

This resort is gorgeous and the suites are perfect for families. We saw so much wildlife on property… monkeys, clothes, macaws, lizards and a toucan. The location cannot be beat. Beautiful view and stores/restaurants right outside the hotel. The only complaints are the breakfast was not great. No good options for kids and a relatively limited menu. A buffet would be much better. The beach was also disappointing bc it is shared with another hotel and that hotel has really nice seating including a big swing and sofa lounges. Los Altos section feels very inferior.

We stayed in one of a adult’s only townhouses. It’s bi-level with balconies on each. The views of the pacific and sundowns alone make staying in one of these worth your time. Having two very attentive butler’s, thanks Andres and Andrey, to make reservations and take care of all your needs is an added bonus. The included breakfast at Karolas is the only way to start your day, don’t forget to tip the staff, the jar is on your right as you walk in. The location is optimal with many good restaurants in walking distance or a short taxi away. If you’re staying in Manuel Antonio you couldn’t stay anywhere better.

Beautiful rooms nestled in incredible scenery with very good service. Definitely recommend this resort. We loved it. Expansive rooms but I still wanted to spend a lot of time on the balcony taking in the views of the trees and the ocean. So peaceful.
