7th Street Guest House is located in Mellville, one of the oldest neighborhoods in Johannesburg. The accommodations are spacious and nice. We had a problem with our room and Rudi, the owner, quickly provided us with another room. The beds are comfortable, breakfast was delicious and the property well landscaped. It was relaxing to sit by the bar and eat breakfast.

This is definitely not a 4 stars hotel. It must be a 2 stars boutique homestay instead. Room is too small for 2 king bed. Bathroom is too small with old shower stall. Old furniture and squeaking wood floor. Felt unwelcome by the management. Definitely not happy stay and not recommend to others.

I liked the quietness and beauty of the place ,in and out,service was good,even though we disturbed by load shedding and water supply,I loved the security,it was of high quality . The staff was friendly and ready to assist where there was a need.

Quiet neighborhood while being at a walking distance from everything, excellent guest house with very kind and welcoming people, the room are perfect really beautiful. It's just the perfect place to book if you want to go to Melville!!

It was a business trip, and my partner and I decided to go back to 7Th Street Guest house, because of the wonderful service, the quietness, and the overall hospitality we received. A place that will become our second ever time we go back to Joburg. Thank you so much to Rudi and his staff for making us feel welcomed and well taken care of.

Friendly and Comfortable stay. Staff were very helpful and extremely accommodating. My room was private and very peaceful. WiFi service excellent. Would definitely recommend friends and family to stay there.

I loved my stay at this guest house. Rudy was great. The room was beautiful especially after he set up my romantic request. Great place, definitely recommend it. I am definitely going to go back soon.

I really did like the place , security is 100% and it’s a kinda place I will recommend for a vacation even if you have kids or family and very sure you will like the place , everyone should visit the property

My stay was brief, but delightful. The guest house is in a lovely setting, and most conveniently located. I barely had a chance to enjoy the outdoor amenities, which enhance the offering. Great service - thanks to Rudi and Vuyo.
