Treehouse Chalets

Amazing views. Sun rise was spectacular. Very spacious and clean chalets beautifully nestled in the jungle overlooking the mountains. Great food. Friendly staff. We booked 3 chalets, as there we're 3 families with kids. Arun's service was exceptional. He is very knowledgeable about the area, hiking trails, bio diversity, and almost about anything relevant to the area. He not only arranged our excurtions but also personally guided us to all the locations. We visited three waterfalls: Bambarakanda, Lanka Ella and Surathali Ella. Arun was extremely patient with us and the young kids. He guided us and helped the kids through the adventurous hike trails. He also arranged a lunch at a village home, which was a special experience. It was an unforgettable trip for all of us.

If one needs tranquility and hospitality during holiday, no other place can beat TreeHouse Chalets in Belihuloya. Our two night stay was a truly memorable experience. Situated in the middle of a jungle, it provides an amazing scenic view of Sabragamuwa district and beyond. Our trip to nearby village was a different experience and Geethani who received us in the village gave us a detailed description of village life and we enjoyed her hospitality and culinary skills. Naturalist, Arun was very knowledgeable and has a real passion for the environment. Himansha also helped us in many ways.

Perfect destination for a honeymoon. Food was extraordinary. Every meal was just perfect. Staff were very very friendly and professional. Would recommend this place to anyone. Nothing to complaint about. Be aware of leaches. Better to have a good ground clearance vehicle to reach the door destination.

We’ve just left the treehouse chalet with the happiest of memories. The food was delicious (they fed our coeliac daughter incredibly well), the treehouse was gorgeous with views that are out of this world. The service and care was incredible. Aruns knowledge and passion for nature is amazing - he oozes love for what he is doing and passed it on to all of us. We swam in waterfalls, walked to the local village, saw the stars …. We were there for 4 nights - it went far too quickly. I highly recommend anyone who is interested in nature, calm surroundings to add this to their itinerary. You won’t regret it!

The rainforest is superb, the views stunning and the treehouse was great fun. We expected all of those things but what we didn't expect was to meet the most amazing guy in Arun, the resident naturalist. The highlight of our stay was the minutes and hours we spent with Arun. He is so knowledgeable and passionate about all animals and plants but he is also a real free spirit and general all round hero. He was fantastic with our boys and we all had such a fantastic time with him and learn so much from him.

Can not believe how amazing this place is Unfortunately we only got to stay 1 night We had dinner on our arrival which was amazing and was then shown to our room Wow is all I can say !! The room was amazing with everything we need and the views were out of this world Staff were 5 star and made our stay amazing Would of loved to of stayed longer 🥲 Amazing place it really is

We were to attend a wedding in Belihuloya on the following morning and it was totally an unplanned last minute decision to book this place. Reached there past 10.30pm after being stranded in the road (long story). Even at that time in the night, the staff welcomed us and went out of their way to stay awake to prepare food and kept company until we all went bed. Woke up next day morning to witness the sunrise. It is then I realized the beauty of this hidden gem. Wow! The view from the room was stunning and breathtaking. Amazing food and best in class hospitality. I just love this place. Will definitely return for a longer stay.

The place is a hidden gem. Fresh air and waterfalls to bath in. So many birds in the forest while you enjoy a cup of tea. Staff is wonderful and helpful in every way. Arun guided us to the waterfall while showing us all the rare plants and trees. Amazing.

I recently stayed at a hidden gem in Belihuloya, and it exceeded all expectations. The staff was incredibly friendly, the food was excellent, and the breathtaking views made the experience truly memorable. The serene surroundings added to the overall tranquility of the stay.
