Staff was aware of door sticking, but issued the room anyway. Turned out to be a simple adjustment on my part as to how to open the door. Nice motel. Just think a place of that caliber should have had the mechanical issue fixed.
Continental Breakfast was very good for that format.

Overall a great place for a stop on our road trip. Place was clean and staff were great. Only issue is the mattress. It was pretty worn out and hard on the back sleeping.

I’ve stayed at the Wingate several times and it never disappoints. Friendly front desk staff, good breakfast, clean hotel and rooms, and inviting common area. Close to restaurants… and Cracker Barrel is literally a few feet away. It’s always a great stay.

It was a last minute call after a major screwup at another hotel in the area. Wingate had six rooms left open. The price was right, the location was right.
The attendant at the desk was friendly, courteous, polite and helpful.
The room was clean, comfortable(including the bed) and had everything we needed for the night. The only issue I had was the highway noise, the windows didn’t deaden the sound very well, earplugs took care of that problem.
This was the first time that we have stayed at a Wingate hotel.
