Feronia Guest House

Violetta made efforts to communicate with me the day before arrival to verify expected arrival time, so she could be here to open the door. And she was, very welcoming and hospitable wonderful staff here.

The Feronia Guest House is in a historic central Rome building. From ancient before Christ and post Christ history to neo-19th Century there is antiquity at every corner nearby. Easy walking to Trevi Fountain, Colosseum, Pantheon and a host of monuments and temple ruin. The Vatican, Roma Termini are a 35min walk or €8 Taxi away. Clean, clean, clean is Feronia Guest House - Daniella runs a tight ship including a good breakfast to start your day off right.

Clean, clean clean. Located in a historic central Rome building, the Feronia Guest House is perfectly located for easy walking distance to Trevi Fountain, Colosseum, Pantheon - sights history and antiquity at every corner in Rome. €8 cab ride from Roma Termini or to the Vatican - a Superb location in the heart of Rome. A stroll back in time to the days of the Roman Empire. Daniella runs a tight ship at Feronia Guest House welcoming all with great breakfast to start the day. This is a great pick for the budget traveller.

The staff are very nice and helpful. The room is basic, and the bathroom quite nice. It was a little limiting waiting til 8 for breakfast, and the help-yourself options in the breakfast room were not very useful. I was unable to work the coffee maker for a decent cup of coffee before breakfast was served at 8. Location is fantastic, and close to shopping, dining and most major sites. A nice place to stay for a reasonable cost.

Sadly, we arrived within the expected time of arrival but could not gain access to the Guest House no matter how many time the rang the doorbell. We stood on the street with our suitcases until someone from the building opened the door on their way out. We then waited a further 10 minutes outside the Front door to the Guest house and with no response we then phoned the contact Number on the door. It then took a further 5 minutes before someone arrived to let us into the Guest house. We were then asked to sit in the Breakfast room whilst our Room was checked before being shown around. Breakfast on the first morning was hit and miss. We arrived at 8.30 am and made our own unaware that it was usual for someone to arrive and cater for our needs at the breakfast table, which was really superb for the few following breakfast mornings thanks to the services of Daniella who made sure we were well fed! The Guest House is a large Apar**ent renovated and refitted to create 5 Good sized on-suite rooms along with a Breakfast Room and Office. Our Room was very clean and tidied up and cleaned daily. The beds were also very comfortable and clean. Apart from our wait on our day of arrival, the service for the rest of our stay was first class and would recommend asking the Feronia to arrange the Airport Taxi Services which were punctual and fairly priced for both arrival and departure. Would we use the Feronia again? …The answer would be an outstanding Yes! … It is extremely well located and central for walks to all the Major Attractions in and around Rome. Shopping, Bars and Restaurants are all located within the immediate vincinity with a very interesting mix of Bars and Restaurants at the nearby Fiori de Campo Piazza for those evenings out ..... and a bonus proper, in wall A** attached to a Bank was also handy directly across the road!
