It didn't help that I paid the full and high (!) price for this room. Following this point, I was scolded for not having carried out the "online check-in" yet. When I said no to the question of possession of a smartphone to carry it out and asked to be able to give my data directly via the registration form, it became completely unfriendly and I was refused room access because it was only in an hour from the hotel "according to the contract". was to be provided, I then took my suitcase and walked into town for an hour. When I came back, the greeting was: "There he is again". The family room, to which I then received the key, was divided into two rooms by a hallway, one of which was locked, so that I - despite booking - could not have used it. The inner city of Rüdesheim is old and historic and the buildings naturally also have old floor plans and extensions that have evolved over the different eras. All no reasons for the shabby and bizarre furnishings and equipment. The colors are off, but the mold has obviously found a better hold on the shower partitions. To top it off, someone had put a refrigerator in the room next to my bed. The breakfast at the Trapp was good. The buffet was wide enough and the food and the breakfast service were good. From our Rüdesheim group we were divided into 3 hotels. According to our comparisons, the Trapp was by far the most expensive - of course I take into account the special feature of my "family room booking". I will not book there again.
