I am writing to express my concern about the language proficiency of the hotel staff during my recent stay at Strandhotel Binz. I encountered significant difficulties due to the lack of English-speaking staff members, especially at the front desk. The inability to communicate effectively with the hotel staff hindered my overall experience and caused unnecessary inconvenience. Upon check-in, I had difficulty conveying my room preferences and confirming the reservation details due to the limited English proficiency of the front desk staff. On a couple of occasions, I asked the reception for assistance with local directions and recommendations. They didn’t recommend much and unfortunately, the language barrier made it extremely challenging to convey my requirements and understand their suggestions. During breakfast at the hotel restaurant, I struggled to communicate my dietary restrictions to the waitstaff. Effective communication is a vital aspect of the hospitality industry, and it can significantly impact a guest's overall satisfaction with their stay. The hotel should inform its customers about the language problem before booking.

I enjoyed this stay more than I was expecting to. I was on a solo road trip, and thought I'd stop by the beach, since it was so close. I wish I had stayed longer! The hotel was way better than I expected from the pictures (I got the updated room with the wood floors and an unexpected partial sea view). The shower-only bathroom is small if you're not used to European-sized bathrooms, but it was very clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The room also had more amenities than I expected like a tablet and robes. The staff was very friendly and helped me use the super high-tech parking garage underneath the hotel (the kind where the cars move like a vending machine). The Fischmarkt restaurant downstairs was fantastic, and so was the hotel breakfast. The restaurant staff were also very friendly. The location is perfect...right on the promenade/beach and a short walk to the pier. The water temperature in early July is chilly if you're not used to cooler water, but I got in! I saw they had strandkorb available to rent and a sauna. If I ever go back to Binz, I would absolutely stay here again.

Sehr schönes Hotel und sehr gute Lage. nettes freundliches Personal. Service hervorragend, Frühstück fantastisch auch kurz nach Stromausfall in ganz Binz. Pünktlich alles fertig. Sehr zu empfehlen. Das Fischrestaurant ist super und auch hir gibt es nichts zu klagen.

platsen och standarden var det inget fel på men att personen vi checkade in för talade inte engelska vilket var en stor brist när man ville fråga om saker. Det fans personal däremellan som pratade engelska men inte just då. På samma sätt var det när vi checkade ut och ville fråga varför det var så olika pris på våra rum. Vi var tre familjer som bodde samtidigt och hade då lite olika kategorier på rummen som visade sig vara helt identiska och med samma begränsade havsutsikt. ändå skiljde det 30 EUR i pris per natt. Varför?

Das Hotelzimmer was sehr liebevoll hergerichtet, so dass man sich einfach nur wohlfühlen konnte. Perfekt war es auch im Fischmarkt, das Restaurant im Hotel. Das Essen war einfach wirklich Göttlich. Die Vorspeise "Haus Lissek" reicht für 2 Person so übbig war sie. Die Fischplatte Fischmarkt, der Fisch war so zart, mit dem sahnigen spitzkohl und den Stampfkartoffeln die das alles noch geschmacklich umschmeichelt haben, es war alles wirklich einwandfrei. Ich hoffe auf ein Wiedersehen.♥️

Die Lage des Hotels ist natürlich ideal und traumhaft. Von einem 4 Sterne Hotel erwarte ich jedoch etwas mehr…. Das Personal am Empfang war nett aber mehr auch nicht. Das Zimmer befand sich im alten Gebäudeteil. Grundsätzlich schönes Altbauzimmer jedoch recht klein, vor allem das Bad! Für Gepäck ist kaum Platz, keine Minibar. Einrichtung modern und sauber, Tür zum Bad leider ein Sanierungsfall - müsste mal ausgetauscht werden! Bad wie gesagt sehr klein - vorwärts rein und rückwärts raus! Einrichtung zum Teil überholungsbedürftigt. Da unser Fenster zur Seite heraus beim Restaurant war, war es etwas laut morgens und Abends. Frühstück war gut aber nicht mehr. Auswahl ausreichend und Personal sehr zuvorkommend. Parken in der Tiefgarage erfordert gutes Autofahren da alles ziemlich eng aber für 10€ am Tag voll in Ordnung. Preis Leistung trotz Hauptsaison ausbaufähig. Das man selbst entscheiden kann, ob das Zimmer gereinigt werden soll finde ich super nachhaltig und zeitgemäß.

Zimmer mit seitlichem Meerblick gebucht, eines im dritten Stock gekriegt, ganz vorne Richtung Meer. Zimmer schön eingerichtet, wenig schnickschnack und nur das Nötigste. Eher kleines Bad, halt platzsparend gebaut. Netter Balkon mit erwähnter Aussicht. Das Hotel schien recht günstig im Vergleich und erfüllte unsere Erwartungen. Kleiner Abzug für den nicht vorhandenen Kühlschrank im Zimmer, wäre aber bestimmt so beschrieben gewesen. Das Frühstück im angebauten Restaurant Fischmark war toll! Am Buffet blieben kaum Wünsche offen und das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Lage des Hotels schliesslich noch scheint nahezu perfekt. Innert weniger Gehminuten an der Seebrück und doch nicht mitten im Trubel gelegen hat man es angenehm ruhig. Parkplätze: Tiefgarage für 10Euro die Nacht, da passt aber kein Fahrzeug rein, welches länger ist als 4.80m! Es gibt einen Aussenparkplatz für 20Euro und wohl noch weitere Möglichkeiten etwas weiter weg, wieder für 10Euro. Diese Gebühren könnten im Zimmerpreis mit eingeschlossen werden. Wir würden hier wieder buchen und können das Hotel gut weiterempfehlen.
