Booked a double room suite for famiy of 3 adults for a weekend trip to Ryazan. This particular hotel was chosen as an optimal base location for a pedestrial sightseeing of the old historic part of town. From this point of view, it is ideal. Pozhalostin's Museum (it's like a Tretyakov Gallery, but in Ryazan), Kremlin hill with all churches, old streets, full of historic houses of famous Russian individuals (like Saltykov-Schedrine, Tsyolkovskiy, Simonov, Solzhenitsyne to name a few); but still, close enought to the modern part of city. A setback was absence of air-conditioning in the suite (at this time of year, temperatures were at 30 Celsius). Breakfast was not included in booking price, but was available on a set meal menu with 4 coises (each priced same), fair and enough to keep you for another 5-6 hours. Another setback is absence of speed bumps on the street. As windows of our 2nd floor suite were facing the street, which is not preoccupied with any traffic at any time - during late evening, local drivers tend to use this for a speedy passage - with no air-condition you sleep with your windows open, and every passing car is a "snooze sweetener". However, the is compensated with a rock-bottom booking price.
