Stayed in the Hayloft, 1st thing I would say to you all is DO NOT take any notice of pictures on the web site as the Hayloft looks nothing like that. I did think about suing for False Representation as it is dull, dingy, very unwelcoming and very poorly decorated. When we arrived we had not heating apart from 2 little electric convector heaters, on the web site it said there were storage heaters but they did not work, front door would not shut or lock. We contacted the manager Steve who was very very rude and abrupt and on complaining about our issues his answer in a load voice was " If you don't like it Leave " . What a attitude to have, not good. We also feel that we were highly overcharged for electric we used, all we used was the TV and a small lamp we did not use oven or hob as we took our air fryer to save on electric. We also feel that the Micro Wave Oven was not fit for purpose and it was full of rust and unsafe to use. So all in all not good. So beware when booking. There are other reviews on the Hayloft so worth a look.

Rosecraddock Manor serves as an excellent starting point for a holiday in Cornwall. The tranquil environment is remarkable, and the Lakeside property where we stayed offered breathtaking views of the lake. Although we visited in January, when it was too chilly to enjoy the balcony, I can only imagine how delightful it would be during the summer months. The property was comfortably warm, which was essential during our January stay. The kitchen, featuring a spacious breakfast bar, was exceptionally well-equipped with everything necessary for cooking, should one choose to do so. The small appliances were all brand new, and there was an ample supply of glasses, plates, cutlery, and other essentials. We appreciated the layout of the property, which included a large lounge situated upstairs adjacent to the main bedroom and ensuite. Additionally, there were two more bedrooms located downstairs, along with a generous dining room. The grounds were stunning, featuring a sizable fishing lake and many places to walk.

What an amazing place. I highly recommend this wonderful place. I stayed in the coachmans apartment in the coach house. A Waterfall in the back garden and loads of peaceful grounds with a giant fishing lake in the middle. Plus lots of local walks for me and my 4 legged companion Benji. It was so good I went back for another 2 weeks of peace in December

The most beautiful little haven set in stunning grounds. There are so many little details that are so well thought out, simple and peaceful a perfect place for a little escape from reality. Highly recommend! We stayed in carpenters lodge - they don’t provide towels and my partner forgot to mention that so we did have to go get some but no big issue! They do have them to hire if needed. It’s quaint and clean - ideal little gem!

Carpenters cottage Beautiful grounds poor WiFi u can pay for it mine ok but partner connections not good. £15 . We were told to leave £20 for electricity we didn't have to pay for storage heating. We were in Carpenters cottage. Small but dark felt like a cave! Oven not working. Manor managers kindly gave us something to make our bit of garden secure as we have dogs. Storage heater good at warming up the place otherwise freezing as thick walls and little sunlight. 1 heater not working in lounge a plug in one was left didn't use it as too costly . Was warm enough anyway. We booked the property 1 week before as cheaper it was £750 down to £450. If we were paying full price wld not be amused as some bits needed attention. Microwave needs replacing as rusty inside ewwwwww.

7th visit and we love it. Liam cottage is beautiful and the grounds are so peaceful. We both said any stress just goes when you hear the sound of the watetfall and the birds. Booked again for next year. Julie and Steve are lovely and we can't thank them enough for helping with a little car problem we had! Great customer service x

I love this location. The site is really well managed by Clive and the team. I met Clive and he seems like a really nice chap. Maybe next time we can meet up and go running. Fishing was excellent the fish are in excellent condition and the lake well looked after. Thank you.

Alex called us on Friday 1st of March the day of our arrival to inform me that the Appartement would not be ready as the previous Guests (3 Lads ) who had stayed for 2 weeks had left the place in a mess, Alex offered me a 3 Bedroom River View Villa instead at no extra cost, the Villa was a lovely property. We had a visit on Sunday from Julie (Manageress) to apologise and said that we could see the Appartment which was still not ready and on entering I could see the Appartment was still was in a mess even after 2 days of cleaning and that they had a lot to do. The television was not working on Monday so I called Alex and she informed me Steve (Julies Husband) would come over, within an hour he was with us bt could not get it working and he would give us a smart TV this was done within 30 minutes, the staff were excellent they couldn't have done enough for us and are a credit to the company Top Marks to them. the following comments are not a complaint but Observations 1. the downstairs Bedroom had a metal bed and when you turned it made a squeeky noise which woke me up and the mattress was a bit thin. 2. the wet room was really big but when you turned the shower on the water went all over the tiled floor which made it slippery an accident waiting to happen especially for elderly and infirm, I would suggest a shower curtain, some hand rails, maybe a shower mat and there was no mirror for shaving. I repeat this is not a complaint but just "Observations" this did not stop having a great stay at such a lovely and peaceful place with fantastic staff we didn't see anyone before we left on Wednesday 6th March to say thank you so I would like to say a Massive Thank you to you all for making our stay Fantastic.
