The place was lovely. The check-in tower was cool and Francesco was very friendly and helpful. It was a quit and perfect place for staying in the hills in Tuscana. A short walk to San Gimignano.

Beautiful place to stay! Great location - 20 min walk to the town. Clean room/bathroom. Water/shower/aircondition works fine. Stunning view from the window of our room, we can See the pool, & vineyards. The owner & family is very friendly & helpful. Breakfast is ok. Good spacious parking. The highlight for us is the stunning view of Hill top of San Gimignano & the vineyards, Tuscan hills from Swimming pool area. It’s very relaxing & charming place. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

We ended up switching twice because the rooms were so bad. The first room was in the old town center, which is a great location for hanging out in the town. But it is 2 floors above restaurants and cafes, so it is loud and cigarette smoke comes thru the windows. Plus the local elderly neighbors across the way (20 meters), who look out their window most of the day, can see you clearly in your bed. When you close the windows, there is no air conditioning so it was hot and stuffy. No screens so mosquitoes came in if you want fresh air. We then went to another room at the edge of town, which had a screen and was quiet. But it was like being in a small dark dungy cave, with poor WiFi. Small bathroom, plastic shower. Third night we moved to their farm, a mile down the road from old town. Quiet, with screens and air conditioning. But the bathroom smelled like an animal died in it and we had to keep the door shut, but still the smell came in. Breakfast is great if you want to load on carbs; fruit was old and bruised. When my wife asked if there were fresher apples, the woman opened a cupboard and gave a fresh one. It seems they prefer to give old apples to their guests than waste them. They’d be better off feeding them to their chickens…

Lasciamo questa recensione in relazione al gruppo di BnB diffusi di cui anche questa struttura fa parte. Anche se nella conferma di ordine veniva indicata la foto di un hotel con piscina ci siamo ritrovati in pieno centro storico. Poco male, saremo più vicini. Il piccolo appartamento assegnato non era certamente una reggia, ma era in posizione strategica. Il ragazzo che ci ha accolti è stato sempre gentile. La struttura appariva piuttosto vecchia, con bagni appena decenti e letti non troppo comodi. Alle 09.30 ci ha bussato una signora per fare le pulizie. Della colazione, nemmeno l'ombra. Non certo una esperienza da ricordare.

bel posto in mezzo agli ulivi e campagna..noi abbiamo scelto la struttura in campagna. non quello in paese sempre gestito da loro. unico difetto strada ghiaiata e no tv. colazione a buffet fornitissima.
