Hotel le Mimose

After several years we returned to Sardinia and we chose this property on the recommendation of friends and never choice was not so good !! Garden room by the pool super !! Excellent cleaning, good food and, abundant breakfast with many good things and consummation top by the pool.The excellent location both for the sea with free shuttle to reach the splendid Cinta, and for San Teodoro which can also be reached on foot. warning in the last days of vacation.We will be back.

Our stay at the Hotel Le Mimose was wonderful !!! I state that I had small doubts given by some negative reviews but canceled immediately upon our arrival. Young and kind welcoming staff, especially Federica with whom we have had the opportunity to interact on several occasions. Staff of the dining room very polite and prepared .. Always kind and discreet in the service, Roberta in particular, Mary, Giovanni and Elias super .. Excellent food, every evening 3 different proposals for the first, 3 seconds, side dishes and desserts with the possibility of requesting also the bis. Sardinian dinner (fantastic porceddu) and excellent fisherman's dinner (even if fregola is not one of my favorite dishes), but every evening there was a proposal of fish and in the case of families with children like ours, you could ask for changes .. The breakfast buffet was full of every good thing, from toasted bread to fresh and dried fruit, jams, homemade cakes, brioches, cheeses, eggs, yogurt and much more .. Francesco always kind to us, he served us coffee and cappuccinos on the outdoor terrace overlooking the pool. A mention also to Enrique, our friendly barman, who we stressed all week for our Edoardo's bottle !!! A mention also to the cleaning ladies, Mrs. Agata made us find our room always clean and impeccable like all the rest of the structure of course. Well-kept garden and swimming pool ... There is a transport service to the beach and vice versa at set times, very convenient, we used it throughout our stay ... Obviously the shuttle is for 12/13 seats and in high season it may not be enough but in 15 minutes on foot you arrive at the La Cinta beach (wonderful) where included in the stay there is the possibility of using umbrellas and sunbeds .. In short, what to say, we will definitely return, perhaps with the possibility of doing two weeks instead of a. Thanks to the Owner and the Director for managing a beautiful, clean and with fair prices in a wonderful San Teodoro !!!

We stayed for the first time this year and were delighted. We will definitely come back, the hotel is also suitable for families, equipped with all comforts. Close to the center and the beach. Exquisite food and efficient staff. The shuttle takes you for free to "La Cinta" beach where you have free umbrella and sunbeds. We never used the car. You can't ask for more !!

Unfortunately we had to cancel the holiday the day before due to Covid problems but the thing that left me completely disappointed is not having received any response to my email with which I canceled the holiday. I understand that having warned a day before he may have lost all the deposit but I expected at least a response, while although 2 emails sent last week and an attempted phone call today had no response. I don't think I'll be back next year

BAD TREATMENT !! I spent a week in July in this hotel with my girlfriend, on a half board basis, booked with advance payment 6 months before. The room WOULD have provided TV, mini bar, safe, as per description. Upon our arrival (5 pm) we are assigned an obscene room in the attic (with a ceiling of maximum 1.5 m high) completely different from the photos on the website, and without a fridge, safe, balcony and TV (only the cable of the antenna dangling from the wall). We ask for explanations to the lady at the reception (present only in the afternoon-evening and who does not give any information to the customers, leaving everyone in jeopardy) and we are told that she did not know anything and would have called the owner Giovanni, who does not answer her because he says always be busy, and therefore suggests that we wait for him in the evening that perhaps he would be back. We finally manage to stop him, and he promises us a room change the following day. The next day we are given a new room, but the receptionist tells us that the next day we still had to leave it to move to another hotel because the rooms were all booked. So I wait again for the evening to discuss it with Giovanni, who immediately changes his attitude noticing our loss of patience as they were practically ruining our holiday and leaves us in the room we paid for. ATTENTION, THE DOORS OF THE SECOND FLOOR ROOMS HAVE ALL THE SAME KEY, DO NOT LEAVE VALUABLE OBJECTS IN THE ROOM !! Discreet food, but bad service from the highly incompetent head of the room who even refuses to bring the price list of drinks to the tables. No food lists are displayed and people with allergens are served food they cannot eat, we witnessed one person who nearly had anaphylactic shock, but the staff don't care! Poor portions and long waiting times. The only competent people in this hotel are the maids (especially valentina and roberta) and the cleaning ladies. Swimming pool with non-functioning hydromassage, and tennis court at the back UNDER SEQUESTER !!!! In conclusion I can say that all in all the structure is beautiful, but manager with incompetence and listlessness. Speaking with other guests we see that many have had the same problems with the rooms as ours, some even with non-existent but already paid reservations, so the owner usually behaves this way with guests, especially with those who have paid in advance so be careful! ! After dinner there are always people in line at the reception for complaints with the owner, absurd! I do not recommend this hotel to everyone.

I stayed in this hotel a week in July with my husband, with great disappointment and bitterness we immediately realized that our room, a double with a balcony to be exact, booked well in advance, did not correspond to the one we had chosen. Unfortunately, the bitter surprise occurred when we discovered that the terrace of our room overlooked the inside of the hotel adjacent to the common terrace equipped with drying racks used by guests to spread beach towels etc ... taking away privacy and security as the wall dividing the two terraces is very low and easily climbed over by anyone. In addition, several air conditioning motors were positioned in the structure and a chimney in the kitchen that contributed to making the outside warm and noisy, other than a relaxing and quiet terrace as the manager asserted after our more than legitimate protests. The types of rooms are different and therefore ..... at the time of booking for correctness and clarity, the existence of the balcony rooms that face inside the structure should also be specified, not only the beautiful and attractive ones that overlook the hills so as to being able to give a choice also based on a different price, due to the quality of the room, because believe me it is really shabby to be in these situations. Having to argue with the manager was the least of our thoughts. directors, managers and companies should be precise in describing their product ... The customer must also be understood, supported and above all welcomed in these unpleasant situations ... Not as happened to us ... Greetings.

I stayed with my husband in July in this hotel.We booked the stay in April by paying 30% as a deposit, for a double room with private balcony overlooking the mountains.In reality we have been assigned a room of 12 square meters sp****ly furnished with a private terrace that overlooked an internal courtyard of the hotel with several drying racks and therefore used as a drying room for guests. air conditioners and the kitchen flue which in addition to making noise raised the outside temperature. So we were unable to enjoy the terrace except to hang out. The head of the structure at our protests proposed the change with a room like the one that can be seen on the site in exchange for a reasonable supplement, demonstrating a lot of unfairness, since we paid over 250 euros per day. was that of the fisherman and you had to choose the night before on three courses. The first courses were scarce and more times cooked badly. We sent back the second ones because they were too spicy and the desserts were repeated, the starters absent. The shuttle to the sea had only a few runs, the one in the afternoon was only at 3pm. We will never go back to this hotel.

What to say? We already miss the Hotel le Mimose, it was a really good experience, we had a bi garden room (for three adults), pool view, very spacious, with simple but very functional furniture, brand new bathroom and very, very nice, excellent cleaning services with maximum availability, the food truly the top, abundant breakfast and always varied dinner (every evening variety of fish) with very good and perfectly cooked products, waiters and maitre of an exquisite professionalism and courtesy, respectful of the rules covid. The girls of the reception and bar, Valentina and Daniela, really cute, always available and courteous towards the customer, as well as Giovanni, the owner, always present and attentive to the well-being of his guests. Location with well-kept swimming pool where it is pleasant to relax, reserved umbrellas and sunbeds, at the beach of La Cinta managed by Thiago, a very nice and professional lifeguard, I hope we have not forgotten anything or anyone, but with this review we wanted to express all our well-being experienced in the two weeks spent at your facility which we highly recommend to everyone, young and old. Although we have been spending our holidays in Sardinia for years, we intend to return to you because you have been a great surprise, you have welcomed and pampered us in the best way!
