We had a great stay. Very friendly staff. Good dinner and breakfast. We also went to Bakernes Paradis which is owned and run by the hotel. A lovely little old fashioned bakery by the fjord where we had a great fish soup and cake for lunch. Lovely 😋

I unexpectedly needed to stay at Kronen Gaard and was completely unprepared in so many ways for my visit. Despite my disorganization, Kronen Gaard's staff went above and beyond to help me feel settled and comfortable. I cannot thank them enough for the "koselig" experience, and professionalism especially from Eve (spelling might be wrong here). Additionally, the food was delicious and the historic/idyllic setting was heavenly. All surfaces and items in the room were extremely clean and the heated floor in the bathroom was also nice! Can't recommend this place enough.

Veldig koselig hotel og nydelig julemiddag til julebordet. Hotelrommet var noe slitent og frokosten egentlig en skuffelse i forhold til forventningene tatt i betraktning hotellets navn, stil og beliggenhet. Hadde nok ventet både stekt egg, mer utvalg i brød og ikke minst fersk melk for å nevne noe når hotellet tross alt heter Kronen Gaard og ligger midt i Norges matfat. Hyggelig betjening, men de trenger kanskje litt mer tid på jobben for å bli effektive i baren og til å rydde av bordene under julebordet. Alt i alt et hyggelig opphold, selv om det ikke levde helt opp til forventningene navn og bilder gir på booking siden.

Avslappet og hyggelig opphold. Veldig hyggelig betjening, men siden jeg jobber i reiseliv vil jeg si at dere hadde en høy mørk svartkledd dame som var svært sur og som overså oss totalt ved flere anledninger. Men koselige Stavangerjente, gjorde at vi alikevel følte oss velkommen! Kommer gjerne igjen, men håper denne høye mørke sure damen ikke er på jobb da.
