Hotel Galfi - Boutique & Adults Only

In my honest opinion this hotel is much more than a two star, the rooms are spacious with air con had a small issue with the shower and aircon however this was resolved promptly. The breakfasts at the galfi are outstanding English, large continental selection and they have another small menu which you can choose from also for free which consisted of salmon, avocado, palms ham etc. Beds - super comfy. Area in which situated was amazing in San a but set away from the hustle and bustle so lovely and quiet on a night/early morning. This hotel has character in abundance a real cool boho feel about it. Jovan was an attentive bar manager and the Dj during the day she is amazing. They have a snack bar however this food was outstanding and very reasonably priced as are drinks but you can take your own around the pool area. Small and quaint, perfect if you like an area during the day to chill and relax. We loved it that much we will be enquiring about having our wedding there in the future. Room wasn’t meant to be available til 3 however we landed at 10am the hotel receptionist got our room ready for us in around 10 mins and again we didn’t fly out til 10pm no chucking you out provided us with towels and toiletry’s kept our cases safe so we could enjoy our last day. Really well run establishment and wouldn’t think twice about returning iv staying in 5star that doesn’t come close to this THANK YOU GALFI HOTEL

The photos on Jet2.com and probably other sites are out dated. The front of the hotel is over grown and you cannot see the hotel for the jungle infront of the hotel. The hotel is closer to San Antonio town rather than the bay. The breakfast is continental only. You are not allowed any drinks in the pool area after breakfast, only drinks you have purchased from the bar this includes water! The rooms are small, balcony you could bearly fit a chair and table on. Some towels had holes in although the maid service was excellent. The safe didn't work and they couldn't manage to fix it. Once in the hotel it was clean and staff were friendly. Hotel had mainly young people in so fair amount of door banging in the early hours.

Really lovely hotel with bohemian courtyard and pool area following a refurb. Very comfortable sunbeds and all round relaxing vibes. Rooms were comfortable albeit they could do with a fridge. The location is brilliant, free breakfast was delicious and staff really helpful. We'll definitely be back!

Friendly staff, clean room, and walking distance from boardwalk!

Deserves higher than 2 star Has recently changed owners and they’re really trying to offer a great service Clean tidy with a buffet continental breakfast with omelette as well Nice area to chill near the pool at the rear Short walk to west end far enough away to be quiet at night Would stay again

Fabulous small adults only hotel. It’s basic but clean and very friendly. Pools great! It’s in a great location, a couple of minutes walk to the beach, easy walking distance to restaurants and night life.

First visit since pandemic and made me very welcome, the staff were excellent especially Julie's service & smile. Breakfast was a plentiful continental. Only negative was I could not stay longer .See you next year in May and September and keep up the great work.

Stopped at the Galfi for a week at the beginning of August, nice location just away from the bars but close enough to walk. Breakfast was continental style and not to our liking so didn’t bother after the first morning. Pool area small but never overly busy, quite nice really. Rooms cleaned and towels changed daily albeit the rooms could do with modernising. Staff mostly very pleasant, albeit when the flushing mechanism broke on our toilet and I reported to reception and informed them that we’re now unable to use the toilet all I got was a shrug of the shoulders!! 24 hours to repair the toilet, hence 24 hours of having to use the toilet in reception (this is unacceptable) surely you should have a plumber on emergency call?

If you're looking for an 18 to 30s hotel, this is for you. If not, steer clear. Its not geared up for adult couples but young party goers. If it was advertised as this, no problem, you know what you're booking. When we were there the 18 to 30s took over the pool area with their music blaring and came in early hours slamming doors and making noise. Hotel itself is basic but clean, good location and breakfast is adequate.
