The hotel has a lot to offer, it's in a quiet area, with some very pleasant surroundings. The staff are friendly, the food is okay and the room is okay. It's reasonably situated for it to be a good base for visiting the region. But here comes the 'but'. The hotel needs to re think how the rooms are cleaned. You look a little closer and the rooms or at least my room, was grubby. When you look into the corners of the room you see, gecko droppings and hairs. The wardrobe in the room hadn't been cleaned for sometime. The wardrobe in my room kind of came in two parts. The top part and a bottom open storage bit. The bottom bit of the wardrobe was covered in cobwebs, dusty cobwebs, so they'd clearly been there a while. Now here comes the unpleasant bit. I pulled back the main blanket/sheet on the bed to find that the the bedsheets clearly hadn't been cleaned. It's deeply unpleasant finding hairs that clearly didn't belong to me. And we're not talking a couple of even a few hairs. We're talking a lot! so much so that I fanned the sheets as best I could and asked the hotel to change the sheets the next morning (why the next morning, because it was late in the evening that I made my discovery). I don't get the not changing the sheets thing. This wasn't the first place in El Salvador that did this.
