Great stay - we booked in here the night before heading into Tayrona and we’re also heading back for a night after leaving the park. Lovely hotel, friendly staff. Huts are spacious, clean with comfy beds. The pool is so refreshing in the heat, and you’re treated to welcome drinks on arrival. We had dinner here too - reasonably priced, lovely food - would recommend the garlic prawns and the hamburger. Looking forward to returning.

What a beautiful resort, steps away from Tayrona park! The pool area is glorious, very clean, with lots of comfortable loungers. The plants and gardens are stunning, making you feel like you're already in the national park! But the most amazing part was the service and hospitality from the staff. Angie, who manages reception, is a SUPER STAR! She made every part of our stay so special- from booking us massages, to setting up an adorable birthday table for me to sit at on the morning of my birthday! She was so kind, considerate, and went the extra mile for whatever we needed. Each morning I could see her going around and checking in with each and every guest to make sure everything was perfect for them. Angie is amazing and the hotel is lucky to have her!

The staff are incredibly helpful and kind, they went always the extra mile to makes us feel like at home and helped us when we needed assistance, every time with the best attitude. The vegetarian optons in the menu are very delicious and the location views are incredible. We will definitely recommend it if you want to relax and have a wonderful holiday.

Deserves a higher rating for the friendliness of the staff and the level of service. Generally, all the staff were friendly, except for one young lady who had an attitude and was distracted. Jennifer is the person to talk to about food and drinks. She is very proactive and knowledgeable. She made a chicken soup for me when I had a cold and always enquired about our stay. Worth staying at the hotel just for her service. The food was generally good, and we can highlight the mexican tomato soup, avocado with quinoa, langostinos al horno, fried pargo, fish ceviche at Koguiwa. The juices were great, so were the margarita and maraqugin cocktails. The restaurant at Watapuy has fusion food, we enjoyed the beef tenderloin with peppersauce, Wasabi tortellini, grilled sea bass and soup. The rooms are comfortable, and could be better with a kettle and more shelf space. The walk to the river and the trek on Sendero Aluno are worth taking. We saw a lot of birds, squirrels and the cotton topped tamarins on the property. The best persons to ask for any assistance is Grace and to follow up is Angie, both have always been concerned about our comfort. The only issue is that you have is to ask for all details as the app has limited info. We even found out the trek by accident while chatting with a gardener. Another highlight was the Khem spa set up overlooking the river. Jomali was amazing with the Thai stretching massage, one of the best treatments ever for me. She was knowledgeable, thorough, caring and pleasant. Danna also gave me an effective chitomassage. The hotel is walking distance from the Tayrona National Park. Get all information before going there as we were surprised about hidden expenses and the need for cash inside. We also visited the Kogui village near Rio Ancho, worth the effort. Memorable stay, overall

We were a group of nine adults, 7 of which had never been to Colombia. Our trip included visiting Barranquilla for Carnaval, Santa Marta, and Cartagena. Our experience with this hotel was the best; even before our arrival, they exceeded expectations. They excelled at customer service, ability, and will to accommodate our needs. The hotel grounds and accommodations were exceptional. This place is more beautiful and peaceful than the pictures show. The food was an art, genuinely delicious. The drinks were also great. We overheard complaints about the slow service, but they take their time to prep everything from scratch, which is completely worth it. Besides, one of the greatest things about lunch or dinner was spending time as a group conversing and enjoying the company of each other while surrounded by the ambiance the natural surroundings offered. You are within a 10 min walk to Parque Tayrona's Zaino entrance. They also helped us make arrangements for day trips and coordinate transportation from Barranquilla, and to Cartagena. Kudos to James for his transportation service; his company felt more like being escorted by the director of tourism and events. Unfortunately, we had to cut our trip a little short due to a taxi protest that was going to block the main roads, but this again showed the professionals and reliability of the hotel. They kept us up to date and allowed us to make an informed decision about our departure time, and coordinated our transportation changes to Cartagena. This is a semi-rustic eco-friendly hotel. The only item I would recommend is for the hotel to improve telephone connectivity at the front desk. Contacting someone at the hotel before our arrival was a little difficult. Consider this place if you want to connect with nature while being pampered with comfort and great service.

This hotel is gorgeous with large rooms. beautiful grounds, a large pool, great food and friendly staff. It is located very close to Tayrona Natinal Park. It does have many minor flaws which are fixable. The rooms have no chairs, nor any place to put suitcases other than the floor. There is very little light in the room nor outside the door, making it very difficult to find the keyhole at night from both inside and out. Also, the door handle blocks the keyhole on both sides. If these are fixed, I would give it 5 stars. As this was booked as part of a larger tour, I cannot assess price/value.
