Halcyon Days Suites

Amazing property with five star views and service. Massive suite and super breakfast. The service from Iro was simply first class. Private transfers and restaurant bookings looked after with ease. We loved it so much we have booked to go back in May 2025.

This hotel is simply amazing. It’s a real hidden gem. Whilst its official star rating is 3, this is only because there is no spa or restaurant. This is every bit a 5star hotel. Every room is slightly different. We stayed in alcyone which is a cave room. The room itself is beautiful. Contemporary furnishings,all high quality. There is also a Marshall speaker which you can connect your phone to. The small kitchenette with a full size fridge was also a wonderful addition. This room has its own private pool, with jets to make part of it a spa and because it was heated it was the perfect temperature. It was very clean and serviced each day with fresh towels etc. Breakfast was served on your terrace (or inside if too windy). It was exceptional and beautifully presented with every day a surprise. Always eggs(cooked differently each day) with a savoury and sweet treat along with croissants. The staff are exceptional and will go above and beyond to make your stay special. The location is very quiet as it’s on the edge of the village so not many people passing by. Staff greet you in the square when you arrive and help with luggage. It’s a 5 minute walk (not accessible by car). Although it’s up hill it’s perfectly manageable, although not suitable if wheelchairs or severe mobility issues. I am late 40s and have heart failure. I managed the walk not only to the hotel but around the village with no problems, at least twice a day. Just take your time. Pyrgos itself is stunning. Very pretty and we loved walking to the restaurants for dinner each night. Our favourite was Cava Alta. I would definitely recommend the hotel. We had a perfect week, with perfect weather around 25 degrees. Not bad for first week of October.

Such a wonderful stay. Total relaxation and so quiet. Fabulous breakfasts with stunning views looking over Santorini. Iro helped make our stay pretty perfect and booked everything from wine tours to restaurants for us (make sure you pre book restaurants in peak season, everywhere we went was turning people away) Pyrgos is a really pretty town but you do need to be able to walk up those steep steps. I would definitely return to this hotel. Thanks again Iro. I’ll miss our morning breakfast chats. Xx

Wow! What a find! All the previous reviews are all spot on. Iro is a wonderful host and made our holiday something to remember. She gave excellent recommendations for restaurants and day trips, taking time when we arrived to find out exactly what we had planned/wanted to do so she could help facilitate. Breakfast is a great variety each morning which is brought to your room so you can have it while taking in the spectacular view. If I could give more the 5 stars I would! Thank you for a magical holiday.

My wife and I stayed in the Myth Suite for 6 nights and could not have been happier with where we spent our honeymoon, at Halcyon Day Suites in Pyrgos. Iro, Natassa and the team were incredible and the suite was perfect. From friendly and warm greeting, the amazing restaurant, drink and activity recommendations, and booking everything for us from taxis to restaurant bookings. The team made everything so easy and every recommendation was absolutely first class. The most delicious breakfasts served in the mornings were a perfect start to the day. We could not recommend highly enough.

We stayed for a week in the 3Sixty suite. It was wonderful! We were made so welcome by the reception staff Iro and Natassa who were so kind and helpful we felt like guests in their home. The suite is lovely, and the kindness and friendliness of the ladies made it holiday really special. 3Sixty is the highest suite in Halcyon Days - called 3Sixty because it has views all round. Set on a quiet path high up in Pyrgos and facing towards the sunset the views are spectacular, and 3Sixty must have the best views of all the suites at Halcyon Days. The suite is very clean and new, there's a good sized terrace with eating area, hot tub and double sun bed, and is quite private. The breakfasts are absolutely marvelous - served on the terrace with a different selection every day and a local Greek specialty offered alongside fresh fruit, pastries, eggs, juice etc. The location among the winding streets of the old town was a delight to walk out to nearby restaurants and cafes. Iro and Natassa were on hand to help booking restaurants, wine tours and car hire.
