After taking our luggage, he took us to the airport and he didn't charge us any fees. Niko's warm and thoughtful service impressed me deeply, it's appreciated very much!"

"A typical island structure overlooking the Santorini caldera with a breathtaking view. The modern, comfortable rooms, many with stunning views, as in our case. The hotel isn't ideal for those with mobility issues because it's perched on the Imerovigli hill, like all the others in the area, overlooking the sea and the caldera at almost 500 meters above sea level. The panoramic view is absolutely unforgettable. The staff is so-so, unenthusiastic and preoccupied with the imminent seasonal closure of the hotel. Three pools in the hotel, one large and two small, but the water was literally freezing...unusable, at least for me. The cleanliness was ok, our room was beautiful, modern, a double bed with a sofa bed, spacious with a superb view, and the minibar was empty. Now for the negatives. The continental breakfast was worthy of a 3-star rating, but a poor one. On the first day, during normal breakfast time, there were already no cups, glasses, and various items, including milk, in the coffee or cappuccino machine. At a certain point, the machine wouldn't dispense anything. I reported this to the few staff members in the dining room and was told, almost rudely, that the machine had run out of milk. It was soup kitchen stuff...I replied that I would be forced to eat out, even though I had paid for breakfast at the hotel. In the end, I had to make do with an espresso macchiato with cold milk. In the following days, things improved slightly, but basically, we're not there at all. The prices at the pool bar are 6-star: a Greek beer, the cheapest in Greece, a 33cl, was €8; two awful cappuccinos we had upon arrival on the morning of the first day were €13. They didn't offer us anything upon arrival. Now let's move on to the issue I consider most serious. We booked this Adromeda SPA Resort because it had a spa with a sauna, jacuzzi, etc., because we really love these types of hotel amenities. Well, the entire spa was closed because the hotel was approaching its seasonal closure, and from this I deduce the lazy attitude of all the staff. Obviously, the hotel sells the facility online, omitting this "small" detail. We were devastated and would never have booked this hotel with the spa closed. Our tour operator, TRIP.COM, learned of this from us and approached the hotel to obtain a small refund, but was unsuccessful, as the hotel was unavailable. The island is wonderful, but in my opinion it falls into the category of mass tourism islands, like Mykonos, Ios, and others, although a little less busy in October. The weather was autumnal, and two days out of five rained. I'll conclude by saying that, from a naturalistic perspective, we're in a true paradise: the caldera, the volcano, the islands—everything is stunning. There are beautiful hikes, many restaurants and taverns, but few where you can eat well. In conclusion, a holiday where we were only half satisfied. Very annoyed, I replied that I'd go get breakfast."
