What an Absolutely SUPERB hotel. The owner, The receptionist, The Staff and the cleaners were all so warm, so friendly and spoke perfect English.- You can pay by card or cash for any amenities here. Our room was above reception and boasted a king sized mega comfortable double bed that surpassed the quality we've experienced in our visits to Premier inn's. There was air conditioning, brilliant free Wi-fi, a fridge and a television that had all the news Channels including BBC 24 and Sky news. Having said this the main asset of this place was the Swimming Pool . Very large and shaped in the image of Santorini Island. Free Sunbeds and Umbrellas and a bar that served morning to dusk where you could purchase all manner of drinks and food. The two bar Staff were very efficient and friendly, especially a blond chap called Sootarius. what a credit to the establishment he was, just so warm and friendly just like the maids who serviced our room to perfection each day. Fresh Towels and toilet rolls every day and the towels were shaped in the form of swans on the bed every time we returned to the room. Lastly the Breakfasts were comprehensive and delicious. You had a choice of Bacon, Sausage, eggs , cereals, fruit, toast and there was obviously tea, Coffee and juices available-- all this was in a spacious dining room with helpful staff around. The owner greeted everybody with a cheery handshake and welcome when they came in to the dining area, such a nice chap-- FIRST CLASS.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Santorini. Staff are super friendly and go above and beyond to make your trip. They even plan bus routes for you if you struggle reading the timetable and are looking for day trips. Breakfast is lovely and there is something for everyone. Rooms are nice and clean. Also has the nicest pool I have ever seen!

Having spent time researching and reading about numerous hotels in Perissa we opted for the Fenix based on recent reviews and the obvious attraction of the pool. If you are unsure in selecting this hotel and have a realistic understanding of Greece this hotel will not disappoint. The only reason we have given this 4* and not 5* and probably being a little unfair was the standard of cleaning of the rooms, yes towels were changed daily and bins emptied but not sure the room was ever swept or the bed made let alone changed during our stay. Moan over. The rooms were fairly standard for greek hotels but the beds were comfortable, the ac, cooling, a safety deposit box available and space provided for hanging clothes, some draw space may have been useful though. The shower was always hot in fact at times a bit more cold water would have been beneficial. The gem of the hotel though as I'm sure you are aware was the pool. Large crescent shape like the Island, with the main section ranging from 2 to 3m in depth, ideal for diving and swimming with the section to the North gradually rising to the stepped access for ease of access. When we stayed, second week of August there was never more than 10 people in the pool making it seem like our own private pool. There is also a small external jacuzzi and child's pool to the side of the main pool. The pool bar is open all day into the evening, which we found served good drinks and the food was good for lunches, sharing a club sandwich and fries was more than adequate. Sunbeds can be hard to find but if none free ask the staff or sit by the pool bar. As others have mentioned the staff at Fenix are there to help, please speak with them and they more than willing to exchange pleasantries, to assist with questions, and to share recommendations wherever they can. All installed in them from the owner who is on hand the majority of the time to greet you and wish you a good day, as well as wishing you a safe journey home on your departure. Perissa itself, offers more than enough tavernas for at least one a night for your holiday and probably about the same number of bars. Note however the bars are of more the gentle nature with occasional live music. All of which depending on your mood offer something for most occasions. The supermarket and bakery are two minutes away as is the nearest bus stop, opposite of which is a side road which we used to walk down to the beach, approx 10minute walk. The beach is quite a granular black sand and a little unusual but you get used to it. Entry to the beach can be over the smooth rocks however nearer Perivolos there are no rocks so we preferred the beach there. Being the tourists we are, we utilised the public buses to visit Oia, during a day and Fira, one evening for the sunset. A more economic method of travel than the taxis which seemed over priced. And finally found the land train a good day trip where at the top end of its route is a harbour and a fantastic sandy beach. We had a g

We had a fabulous family 2 week holiday at the Fenix and thoroughly enjoyed it! We arrived late at night and was welcomed by the lovely elena, check in was quick and luggage taken to our upstairs room.We asked if there was anywhere to get a late meal and they offered to cook at the pool bar which we did and the food was lovely. Our room was at the front which was nice, but asked for a pool room the next day which we had 4 days into our holiday. If the staff can accommodate you then they will. The maid service could be better as the floors in rooms were never swept and mopped and beds were hardly made.fresh fluffy white towels were given everday and bins changed.Pool towels had to be got from the pool bar.A/C is included, the safe is 15 euros a week. The boss man( vasilli) is lovely and very knowledgeable and speaks excellent English. The breakfast has a good variety(Greek yog, fruits cereals, bacon, eggs, breads, ham, cheeses etc..) The pool is gorgeous and a good size and deep for swimming/diving,and the pool man works hard to keep it looking as good as it is,very lovely man. Sunbeds and unbrellas are limited and people put towels down at night and then don't use until lunch! So if your not up before 3am you won't get one. Bars and restaurants 10 min walk,15min to the beach.Pool bar can be expensive for drinks (4 euro for coke)and food but there is a 24hr bakery just across the road and gyro place and supermarket.

Visited with my partner for one week our second time in Santorini and had the best week. It is a family run hotel and the owner and manager are very welcoming and happy to help with anything you may need. The pool is lovely although a little deep, there was always a sunbed available in the afternoon however people tend to leave their towels early morning and not come back until the afternoon! the bar staff are kind and helpful and the pool food was also very nice along with the breakfast. Perissa is about a 15 min walk to shops, bars and restaraunts. The supermarket and The bakery Santa irini is about a 2-3 min walk and is open 24 hours, lovelyyyy pastries and biscuits! Bus stop is also about a 3 min walk where you can get the bus to Fira and other places which I highly recommend! The room was ok, basic but nice. The air con wasn’t all that great and the mattress was extremely hard but I got used to it eventually, the rooms could do with their own squeegie brush for the bathroom as it gets soaking wet! Other than that a lovely room and cleaners came every day to make bed and fresh towels. I never say that I would like to come back anywhere but this hotel is lovely and welcoming and I would most definitely come back!

Just back from a wonderful time here with my teenage daughter and her boyfriend. We had a triple room on the ground floor at the rear of the hotel which gave a fabulous mountain view from our good sized terrace, accessed through double doors from the bedroom. The bedroom and bathroom are very basic. Concrete double and single bed bases and headboards, the double having two mattresses and several pillows, both which were lovely, very comfortable. The walls are rough and appeared stained in parts which I wasn't too sure of initially, but most importantly, the room was cleaned everyday by the friendly maids who provided fresh bedding and towels. Clothes storage space is an alcove with a rail covered by a net curtain. Also in this alcove is a safety deposit box which can be used for 15 euros a week, and a small fridge, but no kettle. There are plenty power points and lighting. Good air conditioning unit, and a hairdryer in the bedroom attached to the wall. There is a small TV, which we never used, so can't comment on. The bathroom, again was basic but practical. There is a monsoon shower head and also a hand held. Both were rusty and pitted, and the walls again appeared stained. A bit of paint and updated fittings would have definitely bumped my review to a 5. The pool is the gem of the Fenix, absolutely beautiful. I won't go on to describe this, but it is one of the loveliest pools and outdoor areas that I've visited, worth 5 stars on its own. Breakfast is basic but plenty, and the chargeable pool bar snacks are good. These can be added to your room so you don't need to take cash around the pool. Around 8 - 12 euros for pizza, toasties, burgers and chips, but I was surprised to find out that a bowl of ice cream is 9 euros. There is a fantastic 24 hour bakery a short walk down the very busy road, which sells a good selection of cakes and ice creams as well as baked goods. Just be careful on the road, once out of the hotel gate, you have about 1 or 2 feet before you're on the road which is very fast and busy. Staff are all very friendly and keen to make sure that you have a pleasurable stay, especially the youngest lad and the oldest man. (I'm rubbish at remembering names). The only other things to talk about is cats and mozzies. The cats/kittens are very friendly and a little bit timid but will seek you out and look at you pleadingly whilst your eating. They're so very cute and no bother. I'm usually bitten to near death by the dreaded mosquitoes and it spoils my holiday so much so that I don't go out on a night, but there were none! I sat on my terrace on the balmy nights with my tipple watching the beautiful sunsets and stars, it was absolute bliss. Thank you Fenix for a very pleasurable stay.

We stayed here 24/6/25- 3/7/ 25. Absolutely loved it. What a gem of a place. Staff are so lovely, can't do enough to make your stay perfect, we were in room 15, lovely room, huge comfy bed., spotlessly clean on arrival. The pool isn't heated and is salt water, once you got in and got used to the temperature it was one of the best I'd been in, spotlessly clean . Just a few minor things that could be make to make it even more perfect, then it already is, a kettle in the room, a hairdryer and somewhere to warm up the cold bowl of baked beans at breakfast or simply remove these, as no one likes cold baked beans for breakfast, apart from that an absolute fantastic place to stay and certainly will be returning.

Stayed here last week with my wife and son. From the moment we arrived Vasily and his team were excellent, very clean and largish rooms. Pool is a good size and all the pool bar team go the extra mile, Costas was superb and would bring your food and drinks to your sunbed. See you next year.
