pros：right on the beach, clean Cons: noise (stops at 11pm) not an issue if you sleep pass 11

Very old and outdated. Everything in Houhai is closed. Now people can travel outside of China. No one wants to go to Houhai .

Nice, little place, right on the beach. Very friendly and helpful staff, who speak good English. Cool bar area, with tasty food and cocktails.

This place is right on the beach but also next to a club that blasts music until 11. So if you're not going to join the party or stay up late, this place is not for you. The hotel does provide ear plugs for those who want to try to get to sleep. I had a room with a big balcony. Had some good views, but it does have trees blocking part of the view and the deck could use some love and attention/ replacement. Some boards were broke or about to break. The staff is really nice and helpful, speaks English. If you don't want to go far for food, there are some food options downstairs... grill, coffee, drinks, and ice cream. There's a great burger place a short walk down the road, going left out of the hotel.

The hotel location is convenient for people who wants to party. It can be noisy all day until 10pm-11pm. The hotel is surrounded by bars and restaurants and there’s easy access to the beach. The rooms are cozy and the bed is quite comfy.

Pretty good as usual. I’ve stayed here many times. Unfortunately this time within 2 days of being here a large Covid outbreak happened in shanghai and some cases came to this community. Things were not normal.

The location is amazing, but when we arrived our room wasn’t ready. They were two hours late getting our room ready. The window of our “sea view” was so dirty that you could barely see the sea. That was frustrating considering we paid quite a lot to stay in a sea view room. The staff was not very attentive. When the pandemic started the staff was not in the hotel to check us out or help us. Not even one person.

Great place to stay for a few days if you came here for parties. Affordable price, right next to the beach. Rooms are clean, but it’s a little noisy at night. Not the best place to stay if you go to bed early. There’s also a nice bar on the first floor.

Awesome place . Great vibes at the lounge area Al fresco over looking the beach. Best place to hang for day drinking , coconut drinking or coffee drinking. Restaurant is sadly really slow but only during rush time. So if you don't want to wait an hour plus place your order before the crowd arrives. But pretty good food. Great fries. Restaurant and hotel not same owners btw. But staff at hotel are all very very helpful and sweet.

Good location but crazy noisy from 8 pm to 11 pm, you can not stay in the room without getting mad. Different electronic music played very loudly from both sides. Shower is just the floor next to the toilet. Dirty windows. Because of the noisy we had to check out and book another hotel. The staff is good and helpful though and they refunded the money without any problem.

The only thing this hotel has right is the location. They use key codes for their rooms, so make sure to remember your code because the front desk is not open late at night. There was mold on the window blinds in the bathroom - not just a little, so much you'd think they would replace them. Obviously at the beach you bring sand into your room and no one cleaned my room once in my 4 nights there. The lounge area looks cool but in reality the seats are awful and uncomfortable for longer stays. Overall 2/5
