Although it does not have all the facilities and amenities you would find in a hotel (you can use the shower freely but you have to pay for the bathtub, the sink, washbasin and toilet are shared, etc.), I think it is a good guest house.

We brought a small child with us, but the owner was considerate and we felt safe there. It's located in a residential area, so it's not noisy and we can relax. The bath in the facility is basically a shower only, but the public bath that he recommended was very nice. It seems that the owner will take us to and from the bath when he has time. The entrance is locked around midnight, but you can enter and exit if you let him know in advance. It is also locked early in the morning. The homemade bread and strawberry confiture we had for breakfast were delicious. It was a fun time chatting with the owner about various things while we ate. I wanted to avoid Western-style rooms in hotels when my child was crawling and wanted to move around, but it was difficult to find a Japanese-style room, so I was very grateful.
