BB_BI chose this hotel for my family because the room was spacious, which was very important to us as we wanted our child to have enough space to move around comfortably. The hotel is new and very clean, exactly as we expected. The complimentary drinks for all guests were a lovely touch. There was a good variety of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options, along with popcorn, which made us feel very welcomed. What impressed me the most, however, was how considerate and helpful the staff were. We checked out very early at 6:00 am during a snowstorm. In the middle of our journey, I realized that I had left one of my bags behind—the one containing my passport and valuable items. I immediately called the hotel and asked if it would be possible to send the bag to the airport, as returning to the hotel ourselves would definitely cause us to miss our flight. The receptionist (I’m very sorry that I can’t remember her name) took my situation very seriously and contacted her manager to request authorization to delegate a staff member to bring my passport to the airport, since they could not leave an unattended bag in a taxi. I had offered to cover all expenses, but what truly stood out was their willingness to help without hesitation. Ms. Wu was the staff member who personally brought my passport to the airport. With her honesty, urgency, and care, I honestly don’t know how I would have made it back to my hometown. I cannot thank her and the hotel team enough for what they did for us. I truly believe I made the right choice staying here, and I will definitely stay at this hotel again on my next visit.

GGuest UserWe stayed for 4 nights, and it wasn't until the second to last day that we realized there was an underground passage. When I asked the front desk, they even had illustrated instructions showing where to turn. Why didn't the front desk staff tell me about this when we checked in on the first day? Anyone who's been to Hokkaido knows how unfriendly the above-ground roads can be, so having an underground passage straight to JR Station was absolutely amazing. The room seemed small at first, but once you slide open the door next to the bathroom sink, it instantly feels so much more spacious. And even though it's a compact room, it has three beds – how great is that? Every day when we got back to the hotel, the first thing we'd do was turn on the TV to check if the washing machine was free, then immediately rush down to do laundry. The public bath downstairs, while not huge, had a good-sized tub, a sauna, and seated showers. They even used POLA bath amenities, though the skincare products weren't from the same brand, which wasn't as good as what you'd find at Noji-no-Kaze. The breakfast was the same every day, which could definitely be improved. However, the miso soup was really delicious, and they had large scallops. My daily breakfast of toast, scrambled eggs, and bacon was incredibly tasty. The milk was also excellent, as expected from Hokkaido milk.

GGuest UserA very comfortable stay. I was in a Single Rm on d 13th flr. Super quiet at the end of the hallway. Window facing another building wall, no view. Comfortable bed and PJ set. No daily housekeeping provided but they'd leave a bag of towel, new PJ set and stuffs hanging on your door in the morning. Early check-in would cost 1000¥ per hour till the official 3【pm check-in time. I opt to leave my luggage in their storage rm, after I checked in around 4:30p, my bags already in my rm. Professional and polite staffs in general. I took the airport bus, but on my day of arrival, bus companies not dropping off passengers infront of the hotel due to severe snowstorm 2 days prior. And they also not picking up infront of d hotel on the wkend and final day of d Sapporo Winter Festival. Nearest airport bus stop would be Odori Park or Grand Sapporo Hotel. It's about less than 10mins walk. If it's during winter with snow on d ground, the Grand Sapporo Hotel bus stop would actually be a better route. I took the Odori Park route and was a bit tedious. Hotel is attentive to amenities details eg: charging cables of different ports ( type-C, Apple, usb-A etc...) available in the rm; utensils available at each floor's elevator lobby, free tea/coffee and extra toiletries at Lobby. Coin laundry(cash only) is 300¥ for each load of washing ( laundry detergent will automatically add in) and 100¥ for 30mins dry. Coin exchange avail at Check-in desk. Great location to Odori Park just across the street and plenty of choices for food + shopping. Rm facing the park during Winter Festival might be noisy due to stage performances and safety announcements or whatnot from the megaphone. Loves the onsen; Female and male has each of their own sections. Closed for cleaning 10a-2p daily, but daily operation is 2p-2a. Delicious mini fruit popsicles/ ice cream available to onsen users. No mini-fridge nor microwave in the rm. Breakfast buffet cost 2300¥/pax with mostly cold dishes, hot food only a handful of choices - wished could be more though; but they do serve wine (red+ white). Will stay again.

There's also a bus to Sapporo Ski Resort that stops at the same platform. Room Amenities: The room was clean, tidy, and very spacious, and it even had its own private hot spring bath. I booked a package that included breakfast and dinner. The food was just okay, but there was a self-service bar and some snacks.

LliliBooked this place based on an ad, and I seriously regret it! It's quite a walk from both the JR and subway stations, so getting around is inconvenient. Front desk staff seemed to treat us differently. White guests and locals were able to check in directly at the counter, but they insisted we use the self-service machine. We tried several times, but couldn't find our reservation information. The staff offered no help whatsoever, just watched us struggle with all our luggage without offering any porter service. It was incredibly, incredibly disappointing. This is the first time I've ever felt so angry in Japan. Also, the hotel facilities are pretty old, and the breakfast, which costs 150 per person, was truly awful! During our four-day stay, housekeeping missed cleaning our room for two days. We only realized it when we returned in the afternoon and had to call them to come. All in all, a very frustrating experience!

GGuest UserThe room was decent, no bathtub but the hotel has a public bath, which is standard for a business hotel. It's near Nakajima-Koen subway station, just across the street. A heads-up for everyone, it's in Nakajima Park, so if you're not near Susukino or Odori, it's a bit of a walk. It's not out of the way, but you do have to walk. Sapporo's subway isn't as frequent as Tokyo's, so sometimes walking might get you there just as fast. It's quite a hassle to drag luggage and parents through the snow when you can't use the underground walkway.

There are izakaya and yakitori restaurants right downstairs in the lobby area, and there’s a convenience store across the street. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. You can check in and check out using a self check-in machine, which was easy to use. The room was clean and not too small — it was actually great.

To fully open them and pack, you'll need to use the bed, which is typical for Japanese hotels, so it's acceptable. It's a bit of a walk to Susukino subway station, a few blocks away, and it's even harder in the snow. I had to go to the Susukino airport bus stop, which is only a few hundred meters away, but with snow and luggage, it would have taken about 40 minutes to walk. I ended up taking a taxi from the hotel entrance, costing less than 100 RMB, and got there in just a few minutes, which was very convenient. Overall, the price was reasonable, around 400+ RMB per night.

DDuijiedechenxianshengA few issues: The front desk staff's service was quite mediocre; their demeanor visibly changed when they saw a Chinese passport. To cut labor costs, the hotel has hired many staff from South Asian countries, which significantly impacts service efficiency and awareness! The hot spring water always felt a bit under temperature! The hotel opened in 1985, so the facilities are very old. If you're not a fan of traditional old Japanese ryokans, I wouldn't recommend it! Everything else was just so-so.
