"This hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Susukino, right on the main street and surrounded by restaurants, shops, and nightlife. If you're looking to stay in a lively and vibrant part of the city, this is an excellent choice. The breakfast offers a good mix of both continental options and Japanese specialties. The room was comfortable despite it wasn't particularly large. Overall, the hotel's prime location, convenient access to local attractions, and satisfying breakfast make it a great option for anyone wanting to experience the energy of Susukino."

"The hygiene was quite good. It's super convenient for getting around, really close to the subway, so no need to worry about heavy snow. Getting anywhere is easy. Check-in is fully automated, and the hot spring was nice, not crowded and clean."
Grids Premium Hotel Otaru ★★★★
"This is my 2nd time I stay in this hotel. I stay here 2 years ago. This time I booked the twin the twin need and the bed is arranged close to each h other without walking path in between. I found out that the facility is a bit run down such as the public bath area. There’s a loud noise not sure is it the sound from the pump. The sauna and outdoor pool is not open at night. The instant coffee provided dues not taste good. The location is ok except not much eating choice near to hotel especially at night."
Hotel Emion Sapporo ★★★★
"The location is great! It can be accessed by an underground walkway connecting to the Sapporo JR station, so even when it rained, there was no problem. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was better than anticipated. No complaints!"

Chalet Ivy Jozankei
"The facilities here are amazing! The hot springs were so relaxing I didn't want to leave, and the view from the window was as beautiful as a painting!"
JR tower hotel nikko sapporo
A high-rise luxury hotel perched above Sapporo Station, renowned for its panoramic city views and seamless transport links.
Hotel Sosei Sapporo - MGallery Collection
"Hotel lobby is big and beautiful. Hallway to the rooms is quite dark. Bed is not firm, so it tends to sink in after awhile"
Jozankei Daiichi Hotel Suizantei
"Location is immaculate - right in the heart of the onsen town where there are many other similar onsen hotels around and a community of guests, local residents and staff, so English is well spoken in general. We also happened to experience a local lantern lighting festival (ie. Like Tangled the Disney movie) where the town come together and provide you with a map to explore local spots and have the path lit up with lanterns - a pretty cool experience! Hotel is a little old and with the humidity of onsen facilities, therefore a little moldy at times, but I wouldn’t consider it not well-maintained/unclean. Facilities are great, lots of different types of onsen to try out and the hotel tries to keep you well-fed at all times with a lounge full of snacks and drinks, and stay-included dinners and breakfasts."
Hotel Torifito Otaru Canal
"Not too far from Otaru Station. Staff was helpful and friendly. I like it!"
Nukumori No Yado Furukawa
"A very traditional onsen hotel with a good vibe. Super good service but food is generally of a small portion."
Hotel Keihan Sapporo
"Location: About a 10-minute walk from Sapporo Station and Hokkaido University, very convenient for getting around. The room was clean and tidy, breakfast had a good variety, and the staff were friendly."
Premier Hotel -Tsubaki- Sapporo
"This was the biggest room we stayed in during our Hokkaido trip. The interior has a charming retro feel, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. From the window, we enjoyed breathtaking 'blue hour' views. Right downstairs, there's a bus stop that takes you to most of Sapporo's popular attractions. The view outside the hotel, especially with the snow, was unexpectedly beautiful. Plus, there's a large Lawson convenience store right across the street, which was super convenient for late-night snacks or breakfast. The front desk staff were also very welcoming and even gave us tips on fun activities for the Snow Festival."
Jozankei View Hotel
"The buffet spread was good and nice onsen spa. However, the onsen is does not allow customers with Tattoos."
Hotel Shikanoyu
"The location was good and the service excellent. The rooms comfortable and food good."
Jozankei Onsen Yurakusoan
"The private hot spring in the room was warm water, but the wooden tub wasn't clean enough. The room facilities were very old, and the staff barely spoke English. They also clearly treated foreigners differently, which was very noticeable. There was basically no service; as I was traveling with family and had several pieces of luggage, they didn't even offer simple help with loading bags into the car. Not recommended."
Dormy Inn Premium Otaru Natural Hot Spring(Reopening on August 1, 2026)
"Right outside JR Station, super convenient. We stayed here 9 years ago too. Breakfast was great, and we booked a Japanese-style room. The hotel has an onsen on the upper floors, which was lovely. It's an easy walk to Otaru's city center, and there's a bus stop right across the street for Mt. Tengu."
KOKO HOTEL Sapporo Susukino
"Very clean, and although the room was small, the ventilation system worked wonderfully, making it very comfortable. The service was enthusiastic, and the location is absolutely fantastic. There are so many great food options right outside, like delicious seafood donburi and incredibly tasty grilled lamb that wasn't ***** at all. Plus, there's a convenience store downstairs, which is super handy. Really great!"
Toyoko Inn Hokkaido Sapporo Susukino Junction
"Perfect location for living just few steps to tourist attractions."
THE GATE HOTEL SAPPORO by HULIC
A stylish, upscale hotel with refined interiors, a strong design focus, and a central location near major city attractions.
The Royal Park Canvas Sapporo Odori Park
"We had a wonderful stay at The Royal Park Canvas Sapporo Odori Park. The hotel is modern, clean, and very comfortable. The location is excellent, with easy access to Odori Park, shopping, restaurants, and public transport. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always helpful. We especially enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere and the beautiful rooftop area. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Sapporo. Highly recommended!"
