Had an amazing stay at Chalet Ivy, a new modern ryokan with traditional feels.
The room is very spacious with comfortable modern amenities, with an in-room private onsen, with unobstructed snow covered views.
Dinner and breakfast here are one of the best, the sequencing of dishes and the amount are just right. Your get to explore various dishes and each dishes are so meticulously done.
One of the best perks here are the lounge, the snack bar and drinks bar are awesome. Stocks with best Sapporo snack and drinks for you to grab at any time.
Definitely one of the best resort ever, will return for sure.

It was very comfortable, with great attention to detail. The snacks and drinks provided on the first floor were very thoughtful, and the staff provided a high level of service. The only regret was that the kaiseki cuisine every night had items that my daughter didn't like, so they couldn't be replaced, but had to be reduced. We stayed for three nights, and only for one meal did the staff change the dishes after further communication, rather than simply removing two dishes.

The room and onsen were exceptionally clean, and the private bath was perfectly heated. The service was okay—not overly enthusiastic but not inattentive either. Dinner and breakfast were a bit lackluster and leave much room for improvement. Overall: The food was unpalatable, and they need a decent chef. I highly recommend the room and onsen.

It's very easy to get to from Sapporo. You can take the Kappa Line and get off in front of Jozankei Shrine and walk straight ahead. When leaving, I asked the hotel to book a taxi, which was very convenient.

The moment you open the door, you're greeted by a spacious living area and your own private hot spring overlooking the mountains. Soaking in the hot springs and enjoying the mountain views made you never want to leave the house!
The dinner was exquisite, each dish a work of art, and the service was incredibly attentive.
