After visiting the holiday village in the previous years of 2017/18 I found myself very excited to return however a few times for this trip I have been left with disappoin**ent! This is not to do with the staff or the actual hotel, the rooms were clean and the cleaners were more than helpful every single day the food options are insane for every single allergy and food type for the most part and I would rate my holiday highly on that however I did have a few issues. Obviously this is a family resort and the kids club and tui reps were amazing at keeping children entertained all day and the early evening, honestly at times slightly louder than would be appreciated but this didn’t bother me too much, however if you are coming for a relaxing holiday DONT. The big bong bingo is on every single day and despite the beach being a wee walk away you can hear it blaring through the entire resort would recommend it wasn’t done every single day and instead 2/3 times a week to ensure some sort of peace for people. The evening entertainment has changed from the previous which I used to enjoy a lot however it may just not be my cup of tea and it is still enjoyable however the amount of kids from ages of 1-10 at the evening entertainment (adults) made it slightly less enjoyable, the main issue I had was the fact they were allowed to run around and kick footballs at you and on so and their parents wouldn’t say a word. It was the adults entertainment at 10.45pm they were totally disturbing it for everyone it really put a downer on the evening entertainment for me. Despite this I have a positive for the acro act on a Saturday night that is very good, however there is still this constant issue of children running around in front of you and the poor tui rep had to keep telling the children to go back to their parents and not climb on the stage. The resort has amazing potential to be a 5 star resort the staff are amazing the issue is the people who don’t treat the experience fairly, for example last night when trying to get some food for the buffet I was nearly knocked off my feet twice by group of children running around with no adults in the adults section despite there being a children’s buffet they all came down and one wee girl smashed her plate and on so just complete chaos at dinner time due to a lack of children being supervised. My main positive of this review is the helpful staff but most importantly the pancake lady she is a credit to the holiday village couldn’t be a kinder more nice soul than her. Also when many kids were throwing up in the lobby around 11pm (parents again no where to be seen) the cleaners were quick to clean up. The resort in itself is spotless and staff couldn’t be nicer it’s just the levels of rudeness coming from other guests that got under my skin, for example me and my partner reserved beds early for our last day and despite this not being allowed every single person does it. When we arrived to our beds a couple hours later due

A wonderful holiday in Holiday village Turkey. The food is very tasty, varied, lots of seafood. Everything is fresh, everything is perfectly decorated. The rooms are very cosy and clean, the bedding is changed every few days. A la carte restaurants are great. In particular, I would like to mention the Mediterranean restaurant. The food is very tasty, beautifully served. But most of all, I was impressed by the attitude and professionalism of the staff. Hamdi, the head of this restaurant, impressed us with his hospitality and kindness. In addition to excellent advice about the menu, we enjoyed talking to him. A very open, positive and pleasant person. We would like to return to this restaurant not only for the great menu, but also for the wonderful people who work here. Thank you very much, Hamdi. I would also like to mention the staff of the spa salon. Very high quality services, good prices and attitude. Manager Jem very professionally managed to choose the necessary procedures for us, in addition to pleasure, we received a great health effect. Thank you all very much for everything. We definitely will return here.

Just come back from a week at holiday village. We were a family of a 2/9/13 year old and 4 adults. The kids really enjoyed the swimming pools and slides plus the widget shows and the entertainment apart from the karaoke from the holiday village reps very very poor. As a view from the adults, the food was amazing the best we have had in an all inclusive holiday ever- the grounds very beautifully maintained, the local hotel staff are very polite and work very hard a lot off the time unnecessary because off the ignorant brits who think they are slaves and will pick up everything after them even though there are bins everywhere . I’ve never felt so embarrassed being a Brit seeing these people behave like animals and mistreating the hotel staff and not having any consideration for other people on holiday. There was on a occasion where at the kids show a mother very drunk and was picked to go up on stage by the hotel rep (who even said before I think you’ve had to much) then within 5min off being on stage was taken selfies and putting her middle finger up!. There’s also a towel on deck chairs issue where I heard people were getting up at 4.30 to put their towels out. Pros- exceptional food, good slides and swimming pools, nice beach with optional water sports to do, lovely spa with great trea**ents, lovely hotel staff, great grounds with a lovely relaxed bar area, nice amphitheater area for the entertainment. Cons- 70% off the brits on holiday there, water down cocktails, inexperience holiday reps, no smoking zones. Tips- go to SARIGERME to buy cheaper deals than the hotel prices, kids loved the chocolate bubble bath at the spa, do the half day turtle bay excursion.

Food is really good, loads of choice. Staff were lovely. Place is clean. However, the resort is very loud, all day!!!! The reps need to tone it down and realise that people also like quiet relaxing time on holidays. Very little alcohol in the drinks, I was grateful for this as I dread to think what the place would be like if people were drunk, their behaviour was bad enough as it was. Zero consideration for others, people shouting and roaring all over the place, smoking by the pools and in all the outdoor areas beside other guests, playing loud music on their own speakers on sun loungers (while there was already music blaring in the resort). Luckily there are a couple of quieter pools away from the main area to escape to. I would not come back here.

This is a great property with plenty of pools, bars and kids activities. The staff is extremely polite and attentive and it makes a huge difference. The food spread is decent with a wide variety for Vegetarians, meat lovers and kids - something for everyone and the hours are extended so you don't have to rush to eat in a 2 hour window. The beach is alright and bit co**** ( not as sandy as you'd expect a top beach) but that's nothing to do with the property. The family rooms are split into two and have 2 separate TVs which is handy when travelling with kids. We're here now and will happily come back.

We had a nice family holiday here during the October half term. The food is absolutely amazing and we loved the variety we received on a daily basis. It's a real family friendly hotel and the HV kids' club provide a vast amount of activities to keep children entertained. We sent our 7 year old and 3 year old and they both had a ball. The evening entertainment for the kids was spot on too, with dance competitions - ways of getting the parents involved and opportunities for the kids to go on stage. The kids loved ending their day in the amphitheatre and they really looked forward to what shows the animation team would put on everyday.

So much for everyone. Food and accommodation excellent. Would go back time and time again with the family. Restaurant manager was excellent and we had someone with dairy and gluten allergies so they cooked a special evening meal for him every night. Plenty of choices for every meal and with it being all inclusive, free drinks too.

A decent enough resort - nice pools, well laid-out and the staff are all brilliant, really lovely. The food was mostly very good, though one member of our party of nine did get very bad food poisoning (me). These things are inevitable when you’re catering for so many people on such a huge scale though, so I accept that as just bad luck. It’s also a good place to visit if you’re after knock-off designer stuff, as the town is basically wall to wall knock-off shops, with a few bars and restaurants. Shout out also to the very good barbers at the bottom end of the main street, who did me a great shave and gave my Dad a thorough (and hysterical) ear and nose waxing. Worth every penny. However, my reason for not giving more stars, as I’m rating the overall experience, is the behaviour of some guests, which the resort could be doing something about. The amount of noise, particularly late at night, was simply unacceptable for a family resort. We were lucky our 3 year old is a heavy sleeper, but we were kept awake ourselves or woken up by people coming back late to their rooms shouting, slamming doors and generally making a racket. Our neighbours came back and watched Britain’s Got Talent at full volume on TV the other night, so loud I could make out what the judges were saying! Slamming doors was a particular theme, as that happened day and night, often by unsupervised kids who also yelled at each other constantly. Noise was a bit of an issue more broadly too, as the evening entertainment is delivered at a ridiculous volume, so can be heard clearly from the rooms. Again, not great if you have young kids as it goes on quite late. Sitting in the actual amphitheatre, our daughter spent most of the bits we watched with her hands over her ears as it was just way too loud. The kids’ entertainment is also more or less exactly the same show every night, which got fairly tedious after a week. I say the hotel could be doing something more about the noise because frankly they could. They could easily make a polite request to keep noise down after a certain time in the room blocks and put up some signs to the same effect. It won’t stop everyone determined to yell at 1am outside other people’s rooms, but it would be a start. They could also turn down the entertainment volume just a smidge, as it really won’t affect the audience experience. It might actually improve it.

Great, not perfect stay. The entertainment is good for the kids. Mine enjoyed stage academy, and the british TUI team are great at their job. One thing sticks in my mind a a down point, and so many agreed... The drinks are absolutley awful - im talking not drinkable - im not fussy, but just spent my 2 weeks drinking water. We want to come back this summer, but i am hoping somehow they improve the drinks!! please holiday village, sort this out. Also the ice cream bar, which is not open enough hours in my opinion. rooms nice, but wish we had more in the room drinks wise.... maybe water, coke and fanta? just water is rubbish! holiday village rhodes you get loads more. these little things would make a huge difference, but overall lovely time.
